After about 16:00 mark. I like your idea of clearing the table. I have allowed too much stuff to build up on my table. You are making me think Australia should be what I try to do, even though I just turned 52.

Hi Miss Rampa, your videos are quite informative, especially for the SA folks...can you perhaps advise what could be a decent salary on 482 visa in Brisbane for a family of 3? Living comfortably and saving a bit, too.

Hey, sorry for the late response and I hope I caught you in time. I will be honest with you, as an immigrant usually some companies will have you on a basic salary/wage depending on the award rate and the position. I always say to families I talk to, if possible do not go to live in the city because unless you are really good and disciplined with your money. Living in the city can be expensive, the rent, paying for transport or car parking etc... I recommend living in a regional area or even remote areas where people are paid higher to attract skilled people in those communities. This will give you a good start as an immigrant in this country and you can move to the city if that is what you are after. Also, it depends on what you see as comfortable. When you do your research, I need you to look at prices for rentals in Brisbane. In your case maybe a two-bedroom accommodation. They can range from $500 to $1000 a week. Consider day-care prices, if your child is of school age, you might have to enrol them in a private school because QLD does not have exemptions for migrants when coming to school fees. Your day-care is also not subsidised on a temporary visa, so these are some of the things to consider. Groceries can range from $250 to $500 WEEKLY depending on what you eat. The city life is expensive and being an immigrant on a temporary visa is risky. Might be hard to save in the beginning but once you settle and wrap your head around it all, I am sure you will be alright. Hope this helps

I’m currently in the UK 🇬🇧 and soon to relocate to Australia 🇦🇺 in few months. Iv never been to Aussie but we think it will be best for us. Family work balance in UK is hard, but looked better with Aussie. The weather is soo depressing, forever cold 🥶, I can’t dzeal . Winter is soo depressing, I’d rather burn with heat. And many more! Salary is better in Aussie than UK. Talk of houses, spacious in Aussie, oh I love big houses. Visa and PR and citizenship seems easier in Aussie than UK. Well this is just my experience
