Path of Titans will have a 10 year plan for content, although we dont know what this plan includes, it is safe to say that there will be more dinosaurs and overall more content coming to the game once it is finished, once it is completed.

Path of Titans is an upcoming MMO RPG Dinosaur survival game, created by Alderon Games. The game has been in production for just over a year and is already looking set to become one of the most successful dinosaur games of all time.
Path of Titans is set to enter early access in September 2020 and has already racked up over $300,000 from crowdfunding. It has an extremely dedicated community and a dedicated team of developers who are providing huge amounts of content for us.

So what do you think will come when the content we know is coming is done?
Great vid mate - I think a 'grab' feature (similar to the isle) would be perfect, meaning thal or hatz can latch and fly, or dromeosaurids could jump onto other creatures, or most importantly sarcosuchus grabbing creatures at the waters edge
Another idea I just procured would be an advanced movement update - such ideas could involve a 0 stam glide for pterosaurs, or a climb for terrestrial dinos. Pouncing or hopping between ledges or branches would make woodland more popular and 360 degree movement for aquatics would make them far more enjoyable
I would like the titanoboa would be cool dino
I would love to see some new maps, like what Laurasia could have been or maybe one in the Artic or antartic, that would be cool
If they do what I’m hoping they’ll do is have more skins we can buy to keep the game alive and add the possibility of more dinos
Path of Titans might be the first game where I’ve trusted the developers intuition to maintain and progress the game going forward… it’s a nice feeling!

Honestly while there are some issues with the incredible grinding you gotta do on official servers, its obvious they do listen to the feedback and aim to fix and balance stuff

Yeah I understand what u mean. There are so many games out there where the devs say they are going to do this, this and this but they end up cutting the game short because of reasons. Not even the Isle I think has a community like path of titans.
Well yes with a game like this survival and kind of based on real life there’s always new things
i think this game could definitely need a wider variety of edible vegetation like ferns, edible trees. or horsetails. i think remodels for growth stages could definetely be added too, such as for rex.
I wanna see a snow map get made then a community server makes ice age creatures only. Would be so cool
Aside from more Dinosaurs I’m also hoping for more maps and more AI.
There’s a lot of mod maps it be cool if they did a vote to add one to the base
AI is the most important thing to be honest; to be alone in the map with nothing to do or even to see is the worst thing a game can ever make.

@@obi-wankenobi523 I know we are getting Frogs, but aside from what everyone else is hoping for which is AI dinosaurs, I also hope we get AI crocodiles and Turtles which is what we’ve seen in previous images.
Still remember the time we were crying allo to come out. Now we have 2 maps about 30 dinos and still 10 years' worth of content alongside mods. The devs really did a phenomenal job on such a short amount of time.
I really want a nesting system that has generations in it, like attributes of their parents from their parents parents, ect.
The feature i do look the most forward too as simple as it is,is AI creatures, some of my favourite servers to hang out in dont have normally a lot of players,so AI adds more life and food sources for carnis (and new dangers)

I want vaulting, a similar system to PUBG where you have a prompt to climb up on objects, like rocks, logs, or small hills. Or like Red Dead Redemption 2 where your horse automatically vaults or jumps over small obstacles

That would be an awsome mechanic. But I suppose it might be a challenge to implement into the game....who knows we will just have to wait and see.

10 years plan doesnt mean neccesarily that they will divide all the stuff across these 10 years,for all we now the main features could all be added as soon as in 3 years or so and the rest be extra stuff

Dang, we can get ai dinosaurs and critters that roam around the map, more food types, new maps, better combat physics, kill animations, and of course new dinosaurs. I would love to see Kaprosuchus as official animal in the game.
Kapro or any similar land croc would be amazing, I know for sure I'd love playing one of those

I think a playable that would be a great addition would be some kind of herbivorous/omnivorous pterosaur, so that herbivores have some of flyer they can group with, kind of like how any land carnivore can group with thallaso, and the pterosaur that I think would be perfect for it would be Tupandactylus, because in life, it was thought to have eaten fruit, flowering plants, possibly nuts and insects or maybe tiny animals, which isn't really different from the in-game struthi.
I think a Maip Macrothorax would be a pretty cool addition for the future

@@StorkyTwint none of these are bad ideas lol...we literally have 2-3 similar creatures for each niche.. they can easily speculate things like they did with metri venom and concas ability to swim well and make things more different like this
My wish is a ‘re-size’ of Stegosaurus to the animals correct size, the same as Trike, or bigger, based off of multiple museums showcase?

I like the overall way PoT is taking, remembers me of no man's sky, started fairly simple, but always become better as time passes. Difference is that in PoT we've got the community chance to participate via mods on unofficial servers, which is a big +. If the game itself changed a lot for the better in such few time, who's gonna say in 5 years. Im optimistic!
I agree that if there is another map coming to the game, it will at least have snow because it is likely that it will be based on laurasia (the northern super continent that split from gondwana) and laurasia could of/did have snow and colder weather.
IMHO, I feel like this game would work/be ssooo good with Beasts of Bermudas smelling system and The Isles Night Vision; would also love to see Beats of Bermudas vegetation system in that, more veggies for the herbies to eat instead of just berries!!
I'm really hoping we get neat new updates that bring more mechanics to the game, rather than just more dinosaurs. Really exciting either way though knowing more is coming even after release!
This game will definitely live we already see what modders can do also with the developers I believe they should take some locations from the Prehistoric Planet documentary for map locations we see most dinos from it is in the game so why not
What I would like to see is realism servers/maps. Which means maps moddeled after prehistoric landscape, with mainly prehistoric plants like treeferns and araucaria (kind of like saurian) where only roughly contemporary dinosaurs will be playable, for example all from the late cretaceous or late jurassic respectively.
Also very important would be proper AI, both for dinosaurs and critters, not the weird "you have to spawn them in through burrows" AI that we have now.

I would love too see some temnospondles like coolasuchus and the large amphibians of the Carboniferous period I doubt it but even some stem mammals like Diictodon which is a smaller one rather than having something like a gorgonops but I would definitely like to see more reptiles,amphibians and even some fish would be cool

As much as I want to be optimistic about this, I feel like things are changing so fast in terms of games with AI that everything will be completely different....

This makes me so happy.. I haven't been playing long but I get lost in it.. One of the most enjoyable game I have ever played..

I would love to see a snow map
Where u could
Have an emote for every Dino to play in the snow
And
Have small burrows u can make
Like not built in like home caves but ones u will make on your own and you would have to take the time to do that
U could have a small tunnel system that u could make to certain places
Burrows would be for certain small guys
U would have markers to all the tunnel holes if u get lost. Other small guys in your group would also be able to see the markers
If a big Dino finds one of your tunnel wholes or finds the main burrow itself (where u started to make one)
The tunnel hole it dug up will collapse and u won’t be able to dig to that area again for awhile
And if it finds the first burrow the main one a timer will appear and if your in the tunnels it will give u enough to time to resurface to the top by any of your tunnels it will show a icon of a Dino digging your burrow
And the burrows will be well hidden hard to find
Also if a small Dino that isn’t in your group happens to come upon one of your burrows it will be able to enter and it will mark u if u are in the tunnels
Like the icon for a dino digging up your burrow there will be a invader icon anyone of your group members will also be able to see that icon
Birds or things that can climb trees will have small dens or big ones depending on the tree to stay in some of them can also make nests or hang out in trees to see if anything is nearby
Big Dino’s will be able to shake the tree which could make u fall out of the tree it will do a little damage and yes there would be a icon for that too
Some little guys could take random stuff like a random branch and throw it at the big Dino doing a little damage to it
And or they can hang on to something in the tree to stay in but it will be one hell of a task to stay in that den
Big dinos will be able to use the home-caves as everything can but since the little guys have certain things only things that can’t burrow or hide in a tree can use the regular home caves
Big guys will also be able to have more caves of there size
(Sorry I’m kinda stumped on more things for the big guys with caves if u have any ideas I would love to hear them even if it’s fake)
Big guys could carry body’s to there cave preserving it a little longer than usual
Other big Dino’s will see that the cave is tooken by another Dino and will have to contest them to get it which means instead making it a rule
U will get a message that u can accept or say no to but if u do u will be debuffed for a good amount of time
If they accept they will be put into a area just outside the cave there will be a circle on the map to indicate how far u are able to go without leaving the challenge u started u see, u can leave but if u do, u will no longer be challenging for the cave u will be running away or u can stay and fight to the death which can give u the cave or make u lose your chance of getting it
The running away part goes for both the defender and invader
U can only rechallenge for the cave once u both have fully healed
Small guys would be able to hide in the snow aswell any small guy can so can the big guys aswell just not as good
If anything sits in a snow storm it will slowly be covered with snow and if u don’t get out of it by the time u are fully covered I will suffocate (it’s separate from hiding in the snow)
A snow storm depending on the Dino will slow u down make your sight blurred and will slowly very slowly kill u
Avalanches would be able to burry u aswell
If u happened to stumble upon a frozen lake u will be able to break some of the ice and drink from it and depending on what u are it will either be small or big
I have more ideas but there’s just way to many sorry if this is way to long and I’m happy that someone would read this
We need more herbivores and semi aquatic herbivores

Im hoping that by the time the devs stop updating the game, the modding part would have gotten so far that _anything_ will be completely customizeable, which would have the capabillity of giving the game many more years to shine, develop and thrive. No idea if that's possible though
I hope they add Giganotosaurus or carcharodontosaurus to the main game instead of being mods
I think the devs said they won't add mods to the official game
What I hope and want to come in the 10 yr plan is more growth details so like the baby’s will be less mature looking like laten baby could have less feathers and more baby hair but adult laten has less baby hair and more feathers and I hope they just add more flyers and aquatics bc what I think is that the sky and ocean will still be empty even after all the Dino’s have been released
Please make a video on the best subspecies to use for every Dino for PVP.
Hopefully they update the quest system soon maybe added some daily’s for adults that give marks something to make players go around the map more
my queastion is the Smilodon will be? and a snow biom will be very cool and great and maybe they had add the pyroraptor mod.
If they do a snow style map I'd love to see a whooly rhino. Just charge a predator down if they get to close.

I think they're planning on giving the sarco a grab, in the future
I think that if the game goes well enough and it starts making enough money through whatever means they decide to utilize if something is profitable they're not just going to stop working with on or around it.
So there is a chance that this game continues to be attitude and updated far beyond the five to 10-year project plan

Another comment I want to leave I will touch on something that you said briefly.
You compared this game to a couple other live service games one of them being world of tanks. Regardless of some opinions of that game or any controversies surrounding it I feel like that was a very strong comparison.
And I have honestly always thought that path of Titans was a good mirror to how world of tanks has started. I can say this because I was there from the very beginning and still am there with world of thanks. And I can very honestly see this game heading in that sort of direction down the road.
I'm genuinely hoping and crossing my fingers for more positive action from happened because I see extreme and numerous possibilities for the game
I’d like to imagine that the devs will stick to their long term plans for the game. New maps, modes, creatures and ai are all things that the game would benefit from, along with the continuous tweaks and fixes.
Hopefully more unique creatures are added to the roster, especially mammals.
I definitely want an herbivorous aquatic creature. Something that eats sponges and grasses. Small-medium sized ai running around would be really nice, though any large ai carnivores might be a problem on semi realism servers.

Wow a 10 year + play for the game is insane. Not a lot of games now days have an actual plan on how many years there devs plan to support their game but the devs of path of titans seem very confident that they will be able to commit to this time plan and they sound very confident that path of titans will continue to have a strong and healthy playerbase after the game has run its course. The devs could do so much within this time plan. They could improve on the game in many ways...too many to which I can type out and describe lol.
But honestly path of titans looks like it's going to have a long and happy future. The game already has a great community and the mods that continue to be released for this game continue to make path of titans roster of playerble creatures proof that this game is full of life.
Path of titans just keeps getting better and better.
Is there any reason you didnt include the megalodon in the future aquatics part? i feel like thats pretty much a necessity for a game like this

I mean, there is a metaphorical forest fire that started when WildCard posted a community crunch about ARK, ARK 2, and the supposed-to-be-free upgrade to UE5.

I'm glad I bought this game - however, I would like to see them produce a reasonable monetization structure for content packs released after the official launch. Why? Because it takes money to keep the development engine running.
We need to look at games like War Thunder, Warframe, Path of Exile etc. and encourage these developers to ensure they have enough gas in the tank to continue this game until its lifecycle is complete. War Thunder is a poor monetization model in that it isn't good for players who don't have a lot of disposable income to spend on video games.
I'd like to see this game be as successful, entertaining and accessible as possible. A good monetization structure is essential for content and continued support post-launch. I think paying a few dollars for content expansions - if that is what keeps the dev-team running - is not a problem at all from my perspective.

Well tbh I think other maps, mods, remodel, dragons, animations, and maybe some hybrids could come in the time who knows there's alot more things that I think could come to the game, I'm excited

i unironically want a first person option for creatures, i dont care how unviable it is for actual combat.
Jeah if they keep adding features this slowly, no wonder there is a 10 years plan. They will not bring the big "combat update" and "quest Update" this jear. Or if, both only half done. The "combat update" that will come out soon is a joke, most dinos have most of their slots empty, not to talk about have a choice what they want to pick for each slot. Amarga and Iggy are still in a very poor stage, which is one of the things they could fix without much work, but seems like they dont want to hear on their community. One of their Devs even thought iggy would do the old quadrupal run in his charge attack, after one player ask if iggy will get its old run animations back. The dev than sayed something like "oh he doesnt? Okey i will fix that" Gosh iggy never did the quadrupal run after they change his animation and that wasnt last week, how they dont know that, do they even play their game?!

Does PoT run on Unreal Engine? If so maybe a thing that could be cool to see is UE5 for the game. I don’t know much about Unreal Engine except that its a core part for many games.

The crowd funding skins should not and likely will never come back. They were sold strictly to fund the game. Those of us who have them are the ones who put faith in the game from the get go and it would be a slap to the face to go back on that.

I agree. I like my exclusive skins. I think it would be great to have people be able to pay to have their own unique skin added to the game for just one person.

Just one time and you have access to everything, even the upcoming dinosaurs.
I think its on beta rn since the console release.
Also if you already paid the game you can use it forever.
