Rachelle was definitely better but Bryce did a good job.
That was the worst part of the movies. Rachelle played the part of Victoria so well and when Bryce came in it just wasn't the same at all.
Not at all, I know a loooot of people who didn’t even notice the substitution. And Bryce did a great job.

I thought Rachelle did great as Victoria so I never got why they replaced her. But I love Bryce and the Victoria played by Bryce more. Victoria is one of my favorite characters♥️
@Aoife i would’ve loved seeing her in Eclipse as well! but everything does happen for a reason so i’m glad Bryce was the one to take her spot!
I read that Rachelle was shooting Barney’s Version and was replaced when conflicting schedules arose.
Apparently they knew she was mentally ill before we all did after the Target fiasco this year. Good for them for pulling the plug on her. wow she's should be in an asylum.

The first Victoria was always so much better of a fit in my opinion, her face was too soft * the second one * for the role-
easily one of the worst recasts in history there were two films building up to the final showdown w victoria it'll never not bug me that they didnt stick w rachelle she was perfect theres just someone off about the replacement victoria

Yeah, she saw Victoria was a bigger part and finally wanted in. Rachelle was a qualified dedicated actress from the beginning. I hope her career picks up.

Actually Bryce rejected the role for the first movie because it wasn't a big enough movie. And then when it was a hit came back to it for the second. But sure Bryce play the women card.
Actually it was because she had signed on to another project and both were filming at the same time so Bryce replaced her. But sure, play the idiot card.

That’s inaccurate, Bryce had given birth at the time and had postpartum depression, so she wasn’t in a position to sign on to a franchise.
Rachelle was fired because her schedule with Barney’s Version overlapped with dates she was contracted to do with Eclipse.

Bryce Dallas was originally offered the job but didn't want the role because the part wasn't big enough. It wasn't until after Twilight became successful she decided it was worth her time. I liked her until I learned that. Both suck now.

why did she get replaced was it because she had another job that was conflicting or something
She had another project that was only 10 days long, and they didn't want to accommodate her so they replaced her. Which is weird because there's so many other scenes to be shot, they could of shot those and shot the ones with her when she comes back. She was really upset because she purposely denied bigger/longer roles and prioritized Twilight. She only took small roles that she felt wouldn't interfere with Twilight and got attached to the character. They said there time conflicts and that's why she got replaced.
