nepo vs hikaru is always a battle of facial expressions 😂
yes, is funny watch them 😂
shit that was hilarious
But Nepo always wins
At 2:02 he tried to grab the mouse again!!
LMAO great find
😂😂😂
Hikaru has installed chip inside him. we homan can't see that invisible mouse.
Hahahahahahaha wtf it's funny af
Kramnik: Hikaru trying to grab an invisible mouse…I think anyone would find that interesting
What a game! If draws then only like this! Brilliancies on brilliancies, only correct moves, dynamic positions with incredible complications
Such a great game, and loved the sportsmanship and mutual respect evident between Hikaru and Ian in their immediate post-game chat.
Hasn't nepomniachtchi accused nakamura of being an online chess cheat?
@@blue_red_screennah, he didn't accuse Hikaru
Hikaru really looked like he DID care.
Hahahaha
I like how Hikaru is going all out against everybody. He is the most exciting player so far...
Always love when these two play
Too much for my 2 bit brain cell.
Love Robert's enthusiasm for the draw!!
Hikaru is the most emotionally transparent player in all of chess.
But he doesn’t care
he definitely does @@donii7092
That’s actually his downfall
lol around 2:02 nakas hand that is crazy!!
He's definitely just putting his hand down. It's not some weird mouse thing.
@@Kriddle1229 just hovering clicking with his finger for no reason
@@dennismerill9406 Definitely wasn't hovering or clicking his finger. but go off.
What a fantastic game. My two favourite players playing accurate yet swashbuckling moves all the way through. Superb fun, a draw is the right result with both operating at such a high level.
Nepo is a mad man !!
Mad? Nah, he's developing man
does anyone know where i can watch the full game replay?
Action, suspense, and sportsmanship.
NEPOOOO
Facial Expressions from both players is just so funny
obviously i know why but i love that in any other sport the "final moments" would be a 1 or 2 minute clip and in chess it's a 20 minute long watch haha
Crazy game
Hikaru missing a4 idea.And he drew.😢
Very tough battle, here!
Nepo is always gangsta until Magnus enters the room
Why does the chess board always take a background role in these broadcasts. Show the fkin board, I don't care about Nepo's nose hair
😂😂😂
They're appealing to the non-chess players. Let's face it, it's all about getting that normie money nowadays, everything is tailored towards them.
@@zxbc1 it's not for the non chess player but the average and low elo players. a tournament need money anyway to survive
Once you can see the 2d board who cares. I don't think anyone really uses the camera picking up the 3d board to analyze do they? Sure if you have no 2d board it may suffice but 3d board can be tough to make out.
At 13:54 someone commented that Nepo had the plot armor LMAO
Nepo shall win it yet again this year
hahaha these camera angles
Amazing game i love it game attack attack attack ...goodjob ian nepo and hikaru
just spectacular
This one hurt
if he thinks hikaru could stay world champ for a long time he needs to start investing more time into his hobbies
Hikaru was probably really relieved when he got the draw.
How? A draw is the same as a loss.
@@Kriddle1229because after the sacrifice he clearly thought he might be losing
@@Relisoc But again.. A draw is the same result as a loss in this case.
@@Kriddle1229a draw is worth 0.5 points, a loss is worth 0 points. Last time I checked, 0 is not equal to 0.5...
@@crxbb Yes, but he needed to win to be within reasonable reach in the standings.
Hikaru was winning and spent like 40 minutes on a blunder
the real blunder was few moves before that
Alright bro calm down he was like +1 lmao nowhere near winning. Better, sure, but he didn’t make any game-throwing blunder.
It was a mistake, not a blunder. Look at the stats for this game it was insane.
He just prepared this position when he reach out of preparation he come back to use their foolish mind this boy without engines and cheats cant win at all
Go play the game yourself to see if you can even spot something
welcome baaaaaaaaaaack to today's video
How'd you get that wrong? It's welcome back to todayyyyyyyyyyyyys video.
Hikaru doesn't need an engine. Insulting in the commentating part.
Whe needs a. d il do when you have magic thermos 😅
Hikaru should make emotes of himself and sell them. He has a face for everything. I was hoping I would just see the board here but he's wincing and groaning for the camera as usual.
This title made me think something really dramatic had happened but it was just a draw by repetition lol
The entire game was crazy. Ian did 2 brilliant moves and 3 great moves... That's rare.
Not all draws are equal. Ian had to play a sequence of perfect moves including two sacrifices being already down on material, and those moves aren't obvious. He had to calculate quite far ahead to see it works.
Find the chess casual challenge in the comments. Here they are.
This game was interesting as Nakamura was on a good advantage with up on time and with a one mistake Nepomniatchtchi found a tactical draw sequence by sacrificing many pieces. You know if this wouldn't be a perpetual Nakamura would've won the game but that's what nepo calculated that it would end in a perpetual check. This was probably the best game yet in the whole candidates.
definitely looked like Hikaru was cooked
Pls zoom in on the game. Although they are handsome, I’m here to see the game pls. Ty
I'm here for both, I can see the game on a jpeg
Long think wrong think
Whatever He literally doesn't care.
We all know that Hikura is a genius, but he's also a bit of a drama queen.
by showing his emotion on the board? come on.
You know, i'm just going to say it, I think Hikaru maybe cares a little!
He absolutely cares. He’s just stating a fact about the power vacuum in chess since Magnus. There’s no doubt if he loses he’ll be bummed. He wants to win like everyone else
@@morssusurri8316was a joke about a nakamura quote
Hikaru trying hard to win every game ever since he lost to Vidit
This draw is a win for Black and lose for white. With those much materials, white should have won. Credit to Nepo.
That is a gross misunderstanding of dynamic equality in chess
You don't know anything about ches if that's what you say😂
Just so you know these guys hate each other
Based off what?
lol what?
They do you guys. Hikaru hates Nepo because nepo accuses him of things like cheating and breaching code of conduct.
@@phd.inanime3427 exactly look at Hikaru's reaction to Ian's accusation
@@crimsonronnie4068 Yeah and do you know that Nepomniatchtchi not only accused Nakamura of cheating nowadays, but he also did it in 2015 Blitz championship I believe where he said to the arbiter that Hikaru moved a piece two times 😂
Wow
Hikaru in Online chess: 😎
Hikaru in Board chess: 🤡
Harsh??
Bro Is literally the world no. 3 in classical, world no. 2 in blitz and former 2850+ in rapid, and you say he's a clown in board chess? Have you started watching chess in this month? 😂
Hes just dumb or new @@phd.inanime3427
ur right smh, hikaru is so bad in otb, like only no.3 in the world? so bad, they should let strong players like you play in the candidates instead
@@phd.inanime3427lol people do not understand how rare that level of consistency is across all time controls
pout x pout
Why they don’t put a Russian flag for Ian ?! Because all the organization are controlled . Ofc
Because of the invasion of Ukraine.
HIKARU
lets go HIKARU!!!!!!!!!

Qe6 was winning.
No idea why wasn't played can someone explain why Qe6 wasn't played around 8:08 please
@@lifeson90 9:03 knight f3 overlooked by me.😁
@@raviravi5342 ah right good one thanks dude
We don’t need Nepo winning again just to lose in the Championship… again
Ding will lose to anyone that wins this tournament, has been playing badly all year
Cope harder. Nepo is gonna win
@gh3meister when is the match? Ding has time to improve. Also nepomniachtchi has a major problem with the pressure of a world title being on the line
Speak for yourself. I want Ian to win and also win the Championship
Hikaru always more busy with how his face looks on cam, instead of focusing on chess
Why is the Russian flag banned in this competition?
War?
Because it's a FIDE competition. It has been banned for over two years.
@@blue_red_screen ok, then why is the Japanese or German flag not banned, too?
@@mrgenetics4063 no idea
