Great video,👍👍 I agree this stuff works really well it’s definitely my favorite past wax for 2021. I personally like a past wax it’s a nostalgia thing for me as well as therapeutic .
Thank you! I'm interested to see how long this will last on the surface
3 MONTH UPDATE - CHECK IT OUT czcams.com/video/fse_p581mzE/video.html
Thank you so much for 4k subscribers!!
What is your favorite paste wax and why?
Used this wax, and then applied TW Graphene Flex wax; my Benz now has a beautiful coat of armor. Love this stuff!
I'm gonna try that exact same combo after I'm done testing this wax as a stand-alone with no toppers.
@@TheCarDetailingChannel Oh, it did come out so beautifully after the paste wax. I just wanted to add the layer of protection the Flex wax provided. I’d love to see some pics when you’re done.
I just did the same today, the shine is off the charts. I just use flex wax as a drying aid after every wash. Infinite protection pretty much.
@@andyg5050 Fabulous! Wish I were able to see it. After 8 weeks, mine is getting to the point where I need to think about doing it again. It’s almost certainly good for another month (maybe more), but I’m starting to see a loss of that beading effect (on places other than the hood), and I can feel some surface contaminants on the roof. It’s probably fine for most people, but I’m not most people when it comes to my car.
@@johnhoey4605 good to know! Just give it a wash and use flex wax as a drying aid. New layer
Awesome! Thank you!
This Ceramic Paste Wax leaves an amazing shine! Great product!
So I actually used this on my Mustang Bullitt the other day... it is the best wax I've used so far. It is a great product.
Great video man. Thanks brother.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment.
I applied this to my car and the car glows. At dusk, my orange fury mustang GT looked like the paint was on fire. That is how much pop and luster is produced.
This stuff is a dream to work with so easy to use and the end result is mind blowing car looks amazing
I have a 2000 Toyota Camry I use this on and people think it's new or repainted!Nope, original paint!😎👍
I've just got mine and enjoyed trying it out on my friend's Sapphire Black BMW 330e. Mine has just a plain black lid, so the 75th anniversary editions may seem to have sold out now. There is now more gloss than before, and I have high hopes for the next rainfall, but the wax really needs to be applied thin and given about 10 minutes before wipe-off. It was very easy to use and the surface was left very slick.
This wax does give me a nice shine like I'd expect from a paste wax. Very easy to apply and remove. Good product overall. I'm hoping to get 3 months of durability out of it.
great job bought mine a while ago but haven't had the time to prepare my car for the the wax and It hasn't stopped raining here in Montreal we even had some snow but I will get around to it. I think I'm going to enjoy it .
You'll love it man! Even without proper prep work, it still looks fantastic.
Lovely showof! Its similar to the Bilt Hamber Finis Wax (some say one of best paste wax in the world), though sheeting may be abit even faster on that one. But lovely small beads on this Turtle Graphene, basically perfect both sheeting & beading moving in harmony lol! Was this the first paste wax you ever used? coz i remember Finis Wax was my first paste wax... I did all 4 stages or so to prepare before polish, then used Angelwax Ti-22 (titan based sealant that is made specifically to use a wax on top) Once that had cured, it look like a dream with that paste wax on top of it! 🙂
Got some coming, can't wait to try it on my basalt black cayenne, been using Poorboys blackhole and topping with nattys black paste, ...... Will be using this instead of the nattys paste, will be interesting to see if its a better gloss or not 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤔
Wolfgang Fuzion. Looks great! I have the new TW from your vid but haven’t tried it yet.
Wolfgang Fuzion, having heard that name in a while. That's one of the OG products. You'll love this stuff AJ. Thanks for watching bro
I have a modded MK7 '17 Tornado red GTI. I use polishes, sprays, synthetics, ceramics, Graphenes, but nothing looks better than Carnuba paste on that color - that would include this stuff. Congrats on your subscribership growth. Good work man.
Thank you so much bro! Sometimes an old school Carnuaba is the way to go. What's your go-to carnauba? I like Supernatural by Dodo Juice.
@@TheCarDetailingChannel sooo...y'all gonna laugh - I gotta bunch but really like Simonize paste. Though gotta say...this stuff from TW is pretty dope.
Great video.
Which is better in terms of shine and durability? The Turtle wax ceramic graphene paste wax OR Turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray?
You can use it on plastic trim, in fact, it’s excellent! Make sure it’s clean, but it doesn’t leave that white haze and the finish it leaves after buffing is lovely and the water behaviour is fantastic. I don’t know what Turtlewax were thinking when they said don’t use it!
Really eh? I will test that out and see how it does. Thanks for watching!
How about rubber trims?
Carzilla, one of the things about living in Calgary. I like to use a fine knap micro or even suede style micro after wax has set and buff quickly putting a little heat into it to do flatten it and bring more shine. It seems to work but I may be seeing what I want to see.
That's interesting and I think you might be onto something with the heat. This jar is supposed to contain like 10 or something natural waxes in addition to the Graphene and Si02; I can see the natural waxes/oils becoming glossier with a bit of heat.
I just used it the other day and I agree that it was very easy to apply and buff off. I used it on my son's black BMW and am curious to see how long it lasts. I plan to top it with TW Flex Wax in about a month. I would be happy with 6-9 months of protection (northeast) and its a daily driver.
For a paste wax, this is very very easy to use. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to buff off. I'm thinking it will last about 3 to 4 months but hopefully it does better than that. If memory serves correctly, I remember carnauba paste waxes 10 years ago that we would reapply every 3 to 4 months. With all this Si02 and graphene business nowadays, I'm curious to see what benefits they actually get you.
@@TheCarDetailingChannel have you seen any realistic scenario for. Lasting at least 5 to6 months?
@@TheCarDetailingChannel)
Paste wax is definitely the enjoyable way to spend time after you detail your car. i used to hate paste wax as I had few bad days with that stuff, until I got a pinacle polishing pal with high quality lake Country foams for waxing. Changed the experience totally
Paste wax has some positives and negatives. Definitely one of the more time consuming ways to do things. Alot of people like it because they have some sort of nostalgic connection to paste wax because that's how was back in the day
i normally use meguires carnauba wax which is awesome but since turtle wax came out with si02 and graphene combo i just ordered it keen to see how durable it is and if it can help with the harsh sun in Australia
I'm so glad I finally got my hands on this. Question though, can you use this as a base and then use seal and shine on top???
The world may never know.
Belle job mon ami je croit ma lâcheté pour mon truck de travaille
I prefer to use Turtle Wax paste wax twice a year and spray wax in-between. I fully detail one of my cars every weekend, so the coatings are well maintained. I paid $35.00 for the 75th anniversary and look forward to A release of more at a lower price.
@Tedley M. It is $26 now, minus the 75th Logo on the top of the cap. Same stuff though.
im buying tomorrow 😂
I was wondering if I could use this in headlights or any plastics?
Can you use this over headlamps or windshield glass?
Hi, can you use a DA 3” pad to apply this?
Is the paste only applied by hand or can it be applied with an orbital polisher?
How does it compare to their graphene liquid wax?
I've used the flex spray wax also.
I liked the liquid wax better.
It left a deeper shine.
I've never used the Graphene Max Wax but other people say that this is a better product than the liquid Max Wax
can you use this regularly after every carwash? say like 2-week intervals without any harmful effects?
Should we use clay bar before applying this wax
wish to know how it held up after 3 months
I used it on my Tundra and my wife's Enclave, was fantastic and the no cure time is a great feature. I doubt I will ever use Carnuba paste wax again.....
This has 10 different carnauba paste wax in it. That's why the glass and shine is so nice. The graphene and the ceramic was added for the durability
I bought a new mercedes 2019 model a200, can I use this product and it wont any damage the car paint right?
WOW
can it be applied on glass too?
That water test is stupid impressive. I wonder if they'll keep this stuff around. I heard it was limited edition.
I think they will keep it around but maybe in limited production. I was really impressed with this wax. I hope it give me 3 solid months.
Word is the 75th anniversary jars are limited, but they will have a regular jar later on in normal production.
@@andyg5050 that’s great news. I wanna try this stuff bad.
The anniversary edition has the signed lid, after that it has the plain black lid on the tin.
@@McGurk72 yes, I’ve since come to find that out. I haven’t seen it around yet.
Dónde la puedo conseguir gracias
Spray wax mine , drive 1500 kilometres +, week , so when wash quickly do spray wax then back on road
How would I go about applying this with a machine? I love the results but I want to offer it as a service and need to apply as fast as possible. Any thoughts?
I haven’t ever used this specific wax with a DA polisher but with other paste waxes, I would use a 5.5 inch finishing pad. To initially prime the pad, I would take the pad off the backing plate and basically dip the pad into the jar of wax. This only works with finishing pads because of how soft and flexible they are. Then to apply more product, I would use a plastic putty knife to scoop some wax out and apply to the pad (like buttering toast), but this will only work with paste waxes that are soft to begin with. The turtle wax is pretty soft so this method should work out great.
👍🏻
Thank you for watching and commenting
My choice is a carnauba paste wax called PURIS A32. PURIS is a company that caters mostly to professional detailers. Having said that I recently purchased and used Turtle wax Seal and Shine which is very good.
I understand you like Bollinger.
CERAMIC + GRAPHENE PASTE WAX
Can this product go on windows to help them be hydrophobic? I live in Florida and need all
The rain help I can get on my glass.
I don’t use this on windows, last time I did, it was a streaky mess (even with a lite coat)
I like using rain x or even turtle wax seal n shine in a pinch
Rupes UNO topped with P&S bead maker...🤯
That's a great combination. I can only imagine how slick that would be.
My great combination to a great clean up and protection combination is
Menzerna 400 then menzerna pro lock sealant then fusso soft99. It's ridiculous performance.
If I am going to spray new paint to my car from a shop that also involve heating the whole car (newly painted) should I apply wax to the car or wait a month time to let the paint 'breath/cure' ?
I would wait 1 full month before applying anything on top. You could also ask the shop what they recommend.
I would wait 3 months but check with the shop first.
What is the durability of this wax?
6 to 12 weeks
Holy moly…..$90.00 for the wax! That’s insane.
I just got the product in a kit from Auto Zone that included the wax, foam pad and microfiber towel for $16. The product works great and so easy to put on and remove for a paste wax. The shine was very good on a 5 year old red Lexus. Hope they keep making as I used to use Turtle Wax Ice paste and it was another great product, but no longer available. This new ceramic is much easier to install and remove.
Does not age well. I purchased mine from Amazon and it was a old one that has turned rock hard. It took a lot to apply it because it did not want to even transfer to my cloth for application. Just a warning to others make sure you are getting a fresh can of wax not a shelf queen.
5:13 Easy to wipe off? Is NOT Turtle Wax!. Hehehe.
It will last 2 weeks to a month.
Hopefully longer than that but time will tell. I'm hoping for 3 months because 2 to 3 months is what we used to get out of average paste waxes back in the day.
I applied this wax on the Bonnet and fenders(2Layers).The other 2 sides have 1 layer of wax topped with Sonax BSD and the other has 1 layer of wax topped with Carpro HydrO2. Lets see if the wax holds longer or the wax and sealent combo.
Done with wax and Turtle Wax
That's alright. So many top notch brands out there now. What are you using mostly?
This like all the “ceramic” wax’s are snake oil! Thats not saying they don’t work, but that its performance is not from the ceramic or graphene! If you don’t believe it do some research on how graphene and these ceramics work. I can add a smidge of these chemicals to a carnuba base and guess what, it will still work.
Manufacturers should start putting the % of si02 or graphene or what have you, right on the bottle for every one to see (or atleast list it on their website). You’re right though. Some probably add a drop of si02 content just so they can legally advertise it on their products.
To get almost 12mins in before a water test is criminal
The video could have been cut in half, just became boring
you talk to much and you dont know nothing about waxes and how to apply
warining 65 alert that his wax cause cancer .
