I have a few hundred hours on a 31' Renaissance Prowler...Give em a look...
2 720qt kill boxes aft, 2 same size midships for storage, rear facing seating w/coolers below, something like 60sqft of cockpit space, as well as console storage and forward storage...twin 300 Suzukis we have seen 1.4mpg @4200rpms and 47mph.

What a about coolers, I have found that most of the new boats don't pay too much attention to real coolers that hold ice for, at least, 2 days. I have seen the ice melt in a couple of hours in boxes like the ones in the floor, I would make sure that those really hold ice, having to bring a portable cooler on a boat is like the last thing j want to do in a fishing trip.
Also, newer boats tend to not have a lot of fishing space in the back, they put a lot of seating, and then we have to be careful a hook doesn't damage them or we don't have a lot of space to move around when landing fish.
But this is thinking almost strictly about fishing. I prefer to have fishing space and then worry about acomodations for a family trip, than the opposite.
But a 33' should have enough space for both, nice boat anyways.

Thanks for the comment! I think with some manufactures you do have to specify if you want the compartment insulate when you buy it. I like to have plenty of space as well. That way I can use bean bags for the ride in and out and put them up in the t top when we are fishing so they don’t get damaged and we have plenty of space to fish.

Jeremy there is a cat boat that goes from Key West to Tortuga everyday. That boat breaks through the water impressively. Much better than a V hull. Incredible the way it breaks the water

Yeah I haven’t rode on many but the cat boats seem to be great riding!
