ITALY Roadtrip Part 1- VENICE to SAN MARINO

- Part one of our May road trip to Italy.
We had initially been going to Italy for Round 2 of the European Le Mans Series, but because of overrunning track and paddock updates it was cancelled and moved to Portugal at the end of October. So we had two options, cancel what we had booked and stay at home or move a few things around and have a nice road trip anyhow - obviously it was a no-brainer and so off we went in the rain to Italy ......
We were very fortunate to have travelled in a small window between the catastrophic floods that affected the Emilia-Romagna region and generally had beautiful weather. We saw some of the destruction caused first hand and to all that were affected, we send our heartfelt sympathies.

We love Veníce but it is always sooo busy, it would be lovely to magically wave a wand and walk the streets looking at all that amazing architecture with just a few people around. It looks like you had a wonderful time and the weather certainly picked up. Great vlog guys.
We agree - luckily there were very few crowds this time when we went so it was so much more enjoyable.
Enjoyed watching your road trip. Lovely mountain scenery for you drive. Tunnel was a bit pricey!! But a nice memory to experience. We have been to Venice a couple of times on cruises it's beautiful. Will have to visit San Marino one day. Great footage and narrative of the trip. Thanks for sharing 👍
