    I have Martin lifespans on my guitar right now.... I like the Stringjoys did sound just a little better... Oh. The stringjoys are 12-54 and the Martins are 11-52. So not a fair comparison

      Yea I’m still not exactly sure which I like best on this guitar yet. So far, I think Elixir 80/20 nano (which is stock on this) but I always shred the coating. I have found that with lighter gauges, you loose a little in the low midrange, which can be good. I used to just think volume and bass. Some sets I do like better in 11. Elixirs are one that scoop a lot of mids out, so I like those in 12 better. I really like the string joy but wish they came in a coated 80/20. The 80/20 oxidizes so fast but my mahogany back and sides guitar is a little warm for phosphor bronze.
