I picked up a Rio LX Premium back in April, I just love it.
Excellent video Gabi and Mike!. Sad it could/likely be the last Rio video, so I have to leave a quick comment. I am a very proud owner of a 2021 Rio LX+ and I love my little red Rio. I just wished we got the hybrid version in Canada that was available in other parts of the world. Awesome little car that doesn't feel small and truly sips gas. In a few years I may upgrade to the Forte5 as it's the bigger sister to the Rio5 and hopefully should still be available.
Kia rio is the most latino beautifull and cutest car . And it's a wonderfull robot walking in the road . It's so good to watch it.
I just bought the 2023 Soul LX last week. The Rio was my second choice. Look a good commuter car.
always good to see Mike on the videos (and we aren't not jealous he can be with Gabbie :D ) I think she's the same Rio we have in Europe but people tends to buy the Stonic (SUVs eat most of the cake this side of the Ocean)

Awwww. I've always had a soft spot for the Rio. My first NEW car was a 2003 Rio RX-V. Loved that little car. They have always been a great value and reasonably priced. But the market is speaking ... small cars just aren't selling like they used to.
There are photos of I think its replacement internationally where if keeps plugging along - kind of the Sonata styling theme.

QUESTION- on the 2023 kia soul, can you set the car so it does not turn off at a stop light but just keeps running?
Yes. You have to manually turn off stop/start every time you start the car, though.
You'll see a symbol in the instrument cluster indicating that it is off.
So basically when the symbol is showing that means the system is not engaged. You think it would be the opposite.

I wish They would have flushed it with more high end options like leather seats that are heated and cooled.
What is the better car - Forte or Rio??? I want fuel efficiency and cost overall. I was also thinking of an Elantra but I am so confused
Let me tell you something... Kia - cheapest repairs/more compact. Forte - Decent mpg & design, Elantra - Best mpg & tech for cheaper price (large car compared to Rio). If I didn't mind a large car I'd go Elantra cause complimentary oil changes for 3yrs. Also, Rio when reselling may not hold value like a Forte/Elantra, but is def cheaper if you're going for lower packages. I'm also debating between them as well.

It is discontinued after 2023. They are still manufacturing the 2023 model until the end of year!
Will the Rio still come out in the United States?
Yes 👍/ the new upgrade Rio will come on October 24 of this year
