I've always felt that livestock guardian dogs should have names like Ruger, Magnum, Colt, Buckshot, or other things that also protect livestock. lol.
A friend of mine named his two males Smith & Wesson. lol.

Maybe name them after some of the characters in Jerry Clower’s stories, like Claud and Maud. Jerry Clower grew up in Liberty Ms and later moved up to Yazoo Ms. You can’t really get more Mississippi than him!

Mike keep up the great work, just a fyi do not put concrete around a wooden post only around a steel post if necessary, concrete will rot your post off and not sure how much frost you get there but the frost will heav your post upwards, just use the same dirt you dug out for back fill this allows the moisture to get away, many fencing company's you's concrete as a insurance policy LOL that they will have future work, coming from an old farm boy, how much concrete is around your power poles along the road i will bet you zero, but again keep up the great work 🙏🙏💖💖

While it is always a mothers goal that her daughter to surpass her in every area, I do feel like this is a bit of a slam towards me in particular. You must be new to the channel and if that’s the case, then welcome. I’m guessing that you missed the videos where I’ve made bread from scratch and shown recipes and things that I cook and processing animals out and raising them and breeding them and doing all the things that keep that side of the farm going, we all have our place around here and we all have our strengths. Building is not mine. I keep other things running and going. You make a California sound like a four letter word. Let me remind you that the majority of California is agriculture and farming and down to earth blue-collar people. Unfortunately, the way things are in California the big cities like San Francisco and LA kind of set the tone for what the rest of the world sees, and for what ends up in the voting box. And I am a woman and I am feminine, and I make no apologies for that even though society nowadays wants women to be men and men to be women I’m sorry, but I don’t play that game so I will look like a woman and I will act like a woman when I’m processing out meat birds. I see no reason to look like a homeless man that just rolled out of bed just because I have a farm.

Growing up we would buy from all the farms around us. That’s what I call farm to table!
There is always something to do. I worked 50 or 60 hours a week and still had to build fences and help water and feed animals and clean pens
Be sure, and go to the NRCS and apply for small ruminant program (goats n sheep) and they will likely pay most of your fencing, although it might be next year before you can do all of it. You will get priority consideration because you were a new farmer and military.
You may have already done this I hope so . Love the channel keep the videos coming.

Since anatolians were bred in Turkey , I thought Turkish names might be fun. Male : Batu = strong , Hakki = justice , Okan = noble. Female : Sadik = faithful, Esma = kind defender , Diba = light brown silk.

as a dog breeder/trainer I would advise against getting 2 pups at the same time I've made a couple customers mad cause I wouldn't sell them two pups and most thanked me after a couple years get one trained then at 2 or 3 years but the second, that just my opinion, good luck with whatever you do

@@3MISSISSIPPI Ive lived in East Texas for several years, but grew up about 100 miles south of you. Yep, Ms is a deer rich state. Its always been a ongoing fight for my folks to keep the deer out. Then theres the rabbits and turkeys. Beautiful garden BTW.
