Nice ride! You have my admiration for doing it in those weather conditions for the region. Things could change to ice in one minute. Like we say in Canada, 🇨🇦 “Shorts one day, shovels the next!” You can tell by the height of the snow banks and the scraped patterns made by the plows that their equipment must operate on GPS because the drifts would cover the roads and the snow can be blinding. Thank God for technology! Kudos to those road equipment operators for keeping the roads so clear.
Was there 14 years ago in August, it was 28 degrees at the summit. Had lunch in Cooke City after leaving Yellowstone. It was a gorgeous ride from Pa. by way of Vegas.
Smart people wait until at least mid June to ride the Beartooth. Don't know if you rode it or not, but if you missed the Chief Joseph highway, you better go back.
We were on a two week trip from Canada. Got to stay on schedule. If we didn't ride the pass that day we would off missed it. It was cold but not to bad. So we were smart after all. We didn't ride the chief Joseph Highway, but I will be back.
As much as I love a good soundtrack. I appreciate just the bike and your slight commentary

Yes for sure the wet roads could of froze.
Great equipment operators. They sure moved a lot of snow.

I rode the Beartooth Pass on my Ultra Classic, in July of '21. Got rain, sleet, hail, then snow. Crazy weather above 10,000ft level.
I want one of these bikes so bad.
I very lucky and have one the least expensive hd but the best
I rode through there but in a car. I’m a recently new owner of a Pan America. I would love to do this
You have real winters 😮
Did I hear that right, June 1st?!
Yup
