Krimson Princess, Cutis-Porcelana and Bella Lois Buis. And no, not everyone wants to get their hands on that big leave Hoya of yours 😉😁. I’m not really a fan of big leave Hoya’s in general. I would love to have a Serpens, Sigillatis Alas River and a New Guinea Ghost.
Hi Betsy 💫 So happy you are uploading again. I’ve missed your unique and quirky personality. It’s absolutely magnificent. Can’t wait for another video. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. 🙏🏻💫
Wormy skit was hilarious! I swear cats have a way of knowing the most convenient times to be "extra special" lol. So happy to enjoy watching your videos again. ❤
Would love to see what you currently think are the top ugliest plants (doesn't have to be Hoyas but could be). I think that would be a fun video. Glad to see you back. You always make me laugh.
Definitely little sea turtle shells on a string! Your personality reminds me of my dads humor when I was younger. And it's a joy to watch you. Plus sarcasm is beautiful and I have a tone problem.. nice to see someone who probably gets a lot of the same complaints from other people. Also I'm constantly told I'm on d ugs because of my upbeat energy. Some people are just fun! You're fun. Love your rambling -L
Hi Betsy! I am so happy to see you ❤️ I used to watch you long ago. You look fabulous, and your hoyas are beautiful as always. That elliptica is awesome.
I love green flowers too 👌 It’s great you put the names on screen right through their presentation as I always forget it so quickly 🙄 Must see if we have any of these available in New Zealand. Really enjoying your channel, it’s so nice that you are back 🤗
Top 5 vids could be, small leaved, big leaved, trailing, climbing, easy bloomers etc. Always glad to see you put up something new 🥰 great to have you back 👍🏻❤️
With splashy Hoya like your pubicalyx, I will list the plant or cuttings as H. Pubicalyx (shows splash when under high light) or whatever it does and the conditions needed. I agree with you that it shouldn’t be named as ‘Splash’ if it isn’t so unless conditions provided make it so
Hey Betsy! Hope you are well today. Idea for video: some thoughts about hand pollination and your experience. I remember that you once said you are trying to hand pollinate using a microscope, but unsuccessfully. As there is still something to learn from failures, maybe it would be interesting for viewers. For me at least it would be very interesting :D
Loooove your content! Keep it up 😊 video idea for you and/or Miro, could you guys please measure the light your hoyas get 🙏🙏🙏 it helps so much when trying to recreate growing conditions, i know im on a different continent so there’s other factors that come into play but I’ve been learning about light recently and that would just be sooooo helpful 🤞🙏❤
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I don't have a light meter, they're quite expensive and the phone apps are useless. Sorry! But I have videos about the lights I have from Soltech Solutions, Mother, and Mars Hydro.
I am always so happy to wake up to a video from you. Always makes my day to see you and Miro. I have a strange strappy leaf hybrid Hoya that has just gone nuts lately and is the most unique Hoya I have that has just captured my heart. My elliptical is sitting on my table right now needing attention again. I am always having root issues with her.
Okay! This video made me so excited for hoyas all over again! Haven't bough a new hoya basically since 2022, and this is t e m p t i n g me! I have a soft spot for hoya obovata especially a super splashy one! Love a good callistophylla, except in my local plant shop it was going for like $150 which is just wild to me; it's cute, but not break-my-wallet-and-spit-in-my-eye cute. And hoya bella because man that thing will not stop blooming! Also so happy too see you and the worm again
Hi! So cool you’re doing videos again! I’d like to see a collaborative video with Miro (maybe split screen) about the same 5 Hoyas. He would say how much he loves a Hoya then you would say how much you hate that same Hoya. 😂
So good to see you- have missed your ramblings (and I 100% agree about the ‘prehistoric’ moniker) !! I also have a very splashy H. pubicalyx (sold as ‘silver splash’) and it is really really lovely. Right now my favorite is an ‘old’ standard: my H macrophylla outer variegated is just so gorgeous! HUGE leaves, the size of my full hand, and I just love love love it. Would really love to see flowers on it, but I must wait. At least my H amicabilis gives me flowering joy on a regular basis and is a bright light in my collection right now.
My current favorites are the ones I have in bloom like multifleura, bertonii, lacunosa, etc, or getting ready to bloom especially if it has never bloomed before for me. I would love it if my eliptical would bloom, but no peduncles yet.
Prehistoric is the ONLY way I've heard thick or raised veiny hoyas described. Fern is exactly what I picture when I think of prehistoric. Thank you for the PSA. Everyone genuinely needed it 🙏😌
Your ellpitica is beautiful! The leaves look thicker than all the ones I've had. I've had 2 or 3 and not one of them made it. That's too bad because it'sone of my favourite leaf pattern. My daughter has a cat almost identical to yours and it poops a LOT! Haha! Must be the breed!!!
It's great seeing you sharing hoyas again! My clemensiorum bloomed for me on two peduncles in the past weeks - I was so proud - and is now pushing them out again on the same spurs. They are juicy, fyi. I had recently put it under new lights in a new cabinet, and I began to see gorgeous sunstressing on one particularly photogenic-perfect-specimen of a leaf. And then, those gorgeous red swaths became paper thin, and orange, and then yellow, and soon will be ugly burn scars. All in aperiod of about 6 weeks. I've reduced the lighting in that cabinet by 50%; probably a good move since the mindorensis was turning red, the elliptica was making new leaves the color of raspberry jam., and the finalysonii 'big leaf' was making new leaves which were very, very small. Lessons are always being learned!
I got the Begonia oldemor just now in Sweden. Wanted it since you showed yours in a tour years ago. Plus the Luxuriance that I had before but It froze to much.
My Retusa is going crazy, my pubacalyx splash is stunning, but I keep overwatering my compactas 😢 First time watcher, you’ve got some character girl 😂 It’s good to know which are easier to care for or not thanks!
@@betsybegonia I could have sworn you said you were going to do a podcast or something unrelated to plants. It very well could have been a few years ago. The last few years have been a huge blur. Regardless…. So good to seeeee you!!!
what color do other pubicalyx splash stress as? i bought mine as pubicalyx splash but when it grew in a window the splash went pink as well and i’ve noticed it happens w other hoyas too but i know there’s pubicalyx pink silver i’m just not convinced it’s truly different than the splash
Your 5 ugliest would be great. 😂I really hope your ‘piles of coat hangers in a corner’ isn’t Caudata (sumatra) because I’m side eyeing mine right now but I think she’s a beautiful mess of awkward limbs. 😅
Your channel is interesting enough, you don’t have to be a clown. Sorry but it takes out much of the seriousness or the real fact about the main subject. I could not pass the first three minutes…
Do you have fleeting Hoya love interests like myself? What's your Hoya of the moment?
Krimson Princess is growing nicely this month.
It’s been lovely to see you back Betsy! Thank you for the new content 💚
Thank you for watching the new content. 😄 I'm glad you're enjoying it.
I agree 👏🏻

Your cat act was hilarious, your Hoyas are beautiful!
OMG! Love the talking cat! 😂😂That was funny. I thoroughly enjoyed all the humor sprinkled in with your content. Keep this content coming!
Worm’s skit had me bustin’ up!!!😹🌿😻
I haven’t seen your content pop up on my page for a while, I’m so happy to see you’re doing well!
At the moment, my favorite is Hoya caudata. It has been blooming constantly since January with multiple blooms. Love the fuzzy flowers.
I would be interested to see a top 5 least favorite/ugliest hoyas. I have a few of those too and I an questioning 'why do I still keep them'...
Would love to see what you currently think are the top ugliest plants (doesn't have to be Hoyas but could be). I think that would be a fun video. Glad to see you back. You always make me laugh.

So so happy to see you pop up again. Great to see you and talk about Hoyas!!
I am right and a lot of people are wrong is my daily mantra.
I may know nothing, but I'm not wrong.
Hi Betsy! I am so happy to see you ❤️ I used to watch you long ago. You look fabulous, and your hoyas are beautiful as always. That elliptica is awesome.
Love your energy and your vids. I don't have many hoyas and watching this video is adding to my list. Thanks...I think. LOL
lovely to see you back after a long time

Thank you, Lovely! 💕
I just found you from looking up Hoya australis Lisa. You're hilariously animated and I would love it if you did a bloopers reel 🤣🤣🤣

So good to see you upload! My current favorite is a big, crusty clemensiorum who is loving life.

Entertaining and informative! Thanks!

My favourite Hoyas of the moment are pubicalyx black dragon because her blooms are just beautiful and my other one is princess ❤
Good to see you back! I’ve missed you and your sense of humor. Loved Worm’s guest appearance. 😂
They’re just like your students of the month lol. Long time lurker here but just had to say, so happy for the new videos! Missed your content.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, you made me chuckle. 🤭

THANK YOU!!!!! For addressing the "red leaves" cause I can't play with that anymore! Red leaves 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks SO MUCH for uploading again!!! We've missed you!

Yes, do a 5 least favorite Hoya video.
😊
Thanks for the video.

Loving my Meredithii, Globulosa, Piestolepis, Sulawesiana, and always my Sunrise (sunstressed). Glad to see you posting again. 💚 🌱
I have many meredithii and none of them ever grow for me. 😂
So happy to see you Betsy! 🎉
I would love to see your picks for ugliest Hoyas. Thanks!
So nice to see you back on CZcams.
I’ve missed you! So glad to see you. My Hoya Chelsea is my favorite at the moment.
My Retusa is going crazy, my pubacalyx splash is stunning, but I keep overwatering my compactas 😢
First time watcher, you’ve got some character girl 😂
It’s good to know which are easier to care for or not thanks!
Good to see u back x
I am glad you are back ❤
Also, Hoyas with the prettiest blooms
Hm, least favorite hoyas? or most annoying. Yay, glad that you are still making plant videos!
First time I’ve found you and I love you already!
🥰 Thank you for watching.
How about the top 5 fastest growing, slowest growing, ugliest, and fragrance best and worst? Is this too much 😳 ❤
Thanks for the suggestions! I think they're fun ideas
Just lovely my dear ❤
Didn’t you have a 2nd channel? Where do I find it!?!? Hi! So good to seeeee you!
I had a second channel just for Vlogmas 2021, I haven't used it since.

horsetails look prehistoric, probably because they are
What do you use to fertilize your Hoya?

SOON
Piles of coat hangers in a corner!!!!! I'm done😂😂😂😂😂😂
I need advice on my retundafolia. Got some cuttings what dose it like to thrive? Never clicked a vid so quick. Glad ur back x
In my experience Hoya rotundifolia is much like any other Hoya. I haven't had any issues with it--in fact I forgot I had one until your comment. 😂
@@betsybegonia I put the wrong name it's my retusa 😅 I need advice on. X
Hoya pubicalyx phantom! That's a great name!
These people need to put me in charge
Thank you for this video! Next video suggestion, how about most pain in the @$$ hoyas?
Welwitschia looks prehistoric.
Wow what a horrifying plant. 😂 I had to look that up.
Good evening Lady B.
I will forever say prehistoric! It just refers to imagined dinosaur skin, and dinosaurs are prehistoric.
Whatever helps you sleep at night. 😆
You’re my favorite 😂
The ugly hoyas video is a great idea!! Also, love that you’re back ❤
You're so funny and sweet 😄
I moved to France Paris. Where do you get your plants??????????
I have acquired Hoyas over the years through friends throughout the EU and from Southeast Asia directly. I have a shop, check out HOYAMYGOSH! 🤗
Hoya Entire collection tour **but**** break it down into episodes. So each video is only as long as the amount of time you have. Thanks 😊
My Eleptica grows sooooooooooooo slow. Tried a lot of light, less light, high humid, less humid. Trellis it.. Just wont grow! Stupid plant. :D
Could be flat mites.
Please make a least favorite hoya video.
Your 5 ugliest would be great. 😂I really hope your ‘piles of coat hangers in a corner’ isn’t Caudata (sumatra) because I’m side eyeing mine right now but I think she’s a beautiful mess of awkward limbs. 😅
