My dad used to say when I was a kid that these things are a novelty item, and will wear off. Now that I came back to the hobby with arrma, no chance that can happen 😃
Exactly the same with me. When I was in middle school I had a 1/16th scale Traxxas e revo and loved it but couldn't afford any parts. Now in college I have an Arrma Outcast and have money for parts. The hobby is so much more fun than I remember!

I love the way it just hooks up after a jump, you would pin the throttle and it hunkers down and takes off, what a mini weapon!

This video is what sold me on the typhon. I went a different route. I bought the newest v3 mega 4x4 because its brushless ready and i wanted to build my own. Im running a chinese 4076 2000kv can with a 150a Esc running 4s and 6s and its crazy fast. I switched to the blx motor mount with the .8 mod slipper clutch and center drive shaft support. I had to add a wheelie bar because its out of control on 6s. Bash on!
I purchased a V2 Typhon, and it was a beast on 4S. I will be getting the V4 this weekend in Boise Idaho @ Hobby Town. I will get both the 4S and 6S batteries for it.
Nice job on the track with it, and those flips scares the crap out of me, and I was amazed that nothing broke.

These Arrmas are tanks, great torture test Vas. Wife cartwheeled her Senton 6s ,hit a big rock landed on its wheels and had a few scratches. Best channel around . Wife want me to get the Mojave , cant argue with that. Ha,ha.
I widened my Typhon with Kraton parts and added trenchers… it’s a blast to drive! Also added T-Bone Racing front and rear bumpers, plus the shock tower guards are a must for those exposed shocks. It’s prevented many breaks!
Lord have mercy, that nosedive make my nuts suck up! Took the hit like a champ too.
I loved to watch reaching that plateau it was nice flying. That dog wanted a bite of your tire ahah

Love the video, Vas! The Typhon is so light and nimble. It's Arrma's best handling rig. I just picked up a new V4 Talion and I'm really enjoying it. It's a nice cross between the Kraton and the Typhon!
for the motor wires just slip another piece of heat shrink over the connector. then plug it in and shrink it over the connection to hold them together.

Agree on the new Spektrum stock radio feeling so cheap. I thought my TQi was already cheap feeling, but it is a lot better than the stock Spektrum.

Hi VAS that was an awesome test on that V4 Typhon yes the V3 and V4 typhon are one of the most toughest armored cars out there cuz there a arms are stout.
I do have I Typhon V3 and I truggified it with kraton hubs, hex & Axle . And I absolutely love that car and I did crashed that car too just like you did and boy my heart pounded but it handled really well yes truly ARRMA TOUGH!!😁😁💪💪💪👍👍👍👌👌👌👊👊🤙🤙🙌✌
The whole reason I got a Granite 4x4 was to get something for my dog to chase! My boy also tries to bite the tires, but only if it stops moving and he isn't done playing chase yet! Anyway, I'm getting very interested in the new Typhon, but I do kinda miss the old Blue paint job.

I just bought the brushed version Wednesday yes brushed it’s perfect for my local hobby shop track I’m going to buy the Senton brushed next Wednesday coming up I tried not to for the last couple of months but I just love the way it looks that’s why I bought the Typhon

I purchased this Day 1 and in a freak accident ripped the threads out of the ball cup. Arrma had parts to me within 2 days and it has been great ever since. i have been punishing this car and it has been holding up great so far.
I bought one last weekend. I love it, such a great car

You could also keep it and get both. They are very different.

But I’m thinking of keeping the 3s as my little speed demon and since I’m upgrading to 6s there’s the Kraton and the outcast I’m torn between for bashing! I just 🤷🏻♂️ lol. I’m really leaning towards the Kraton though. Probably what I’ll go with and upgrade a few things! We will see
