when you fall asleep first at a sleepover:
[ (209damage * 14tics) + 103 last ''tic'' ] = 3029 Damage Per Stake.
(3029 * 14 Stakes = 42.406 damage Per person.
14 stakes = 8 Bombs, 4 Snowman, 1 Alatreon, 1 Person.
42.406 * 3 People = 127.218 Damage
Bombs: 338 x 8 =2.704
127.218 + 2.704 = 129.922 Total Damage.
Alatreon HP 118.125
Final Formula:
{ [ ( 209 * 14) + 103 ] * 14 * 3 } + 2.704 = 129.922

Rookie mistake
Wait, I'm confused where 14 stakes come from?
@@kinsan89 stake attaches to each object, it is either overlooked by capcom or they didnt care much because it not something you casually use in hunts. So if the stake penetrates 14 objects as listed above while touching the monster they all stuck on the monster. Or basically outputs 14 which attach there. With frame perfect sync every player can take this advantage since we all hit the bombs before they disapear
@@IDeVaste Dosent switch axe add more phial explosions when colliding with players and palicos? I wonder if that one is intentional as it seems similar to the wyrmstake interaction.

I love seeing runs like this where monsters just get deleted, and the fact that the Gunlance can do that of all things is really funny. Pre world I doubt it could ever kill an elder in 30 seconds.
Its cool untill you realize its an oversight on capcoms side, completely unintended usage of wyrmstake damage attaching itself 14 times due to the snowmans being present.
@@Tommyvang187 yes but developers can only plan for their player bases creativity so far. I'd say its the more impressive actually figuring out you can do stuff like this.
@@Tommyvang18710 month comment but what ever. Its not because of the snow many, its any object that collides with the stake that will make it happen. Including bombs and even other players. The more objects you stack together the better. Snowmen are just another object to throw on the pile.
With full respect to idevastes creativity and time put to perfecting them, these runs are still a byproduct of an exploit, an oversight in game mechanics.
Devast discovered and had fun with it, but there is no universe these runs would be official if there was a proper contest since they dont allow for such exploitations.
The contest exists only amongst the players themselves which is fun and no one should have an issue with that.
I just wanted to say that and clarify that this is an elder dragon done within 30 seconds while simultaneously, it isnt.

I'm a veteran, only started playing now... (About 200 hours in and starting to make some endgame equipment)
I miss my bow of light and valor to hunt alatreon on Gen/GU... My chargeblade skills in world isn't as effective as I did on 4u.
I am so glad i bought this game last month , all the cool monsters that have more health then any darksouls boss ahhh the ol' one shot .
