I saw this video on Facebook and dozens of people were calling that out as proof of fakery and then insulting people who were trying to explain to them how bagpipes work.
@@ssasppn0834 you use your breath to fill the bag with air and then squeeze it with your arm to push it out the other pipes, some of the pipes are called drones and make one continuous note, and then there is a more flute-like pipe called the chanter that allows you to play various notes. As long as there is a reservoir of air in the bag you can continue playing without adding more to the system.

Actually a good instrument player, especially if you’re a soloist, you still keeping that professional look and kept doing your performance, i would love to do that kind of thing where i would be not panicking, but its violin, some solo musics doesnt have any break and usually it takes like 3-5 minute between each rests, which if i would be in your situation, I would pray to god for it to go away by its self and go into a rest quickly because those two hands gotta work hard all piece long
As a musician myself I can say with 100% confidence that I would probably not have managed to continue the performance without missing a note like you did
as a drummer these situations would be the death of me cuz i'd have to much adrenaline to ever think "hit the bug with your hand not the drum stick" so i ended up full force slapping myself with drum sticks a lot, it hurts a lot more than you'd think, also to make it clear i would totally have the ability to hit the bug with my hand lol, it's not hard playing simple beats one handed, n even if it's not simple i could've palmed them while holding the stick and went right back into playing, im just simply dumb when focused on my instrument lol ngl

As a violinist who has played in many outdoor venues, I have had several experiences of bugs deciding that me and my instrument is a great place to hang out while I am trying to keep it together, oh my word. The moments where I too would try to find a moment to shoo them AWAY, lol. I totally felt her reaction 🥴

That was incredible. It always amazes me how small some bagpipers are, like it take a crazy amount of lung power and breath control to play that instrument. So, when such a big noise comes out such a small human I'm always blown away 😂 that's before we get to the bit where she did all that with a lantern bug ON HER NECK!! 🫠🫠 There is no emoji that accurately conveys how much that horrifies and impresses me.
Glad to know im not the only one a bug decided to visit during a performance😂 litterally had a large beatle land on the back or my head during a choir performance and was trying not to freak out since it was in the middle of a serious song thank goodness for my friend Amy who noticed and helped me out 😊

Nightmarish.
I was at a huge marching band competition once, and a fly landed right underneath my nose and I had to feel it walk from the right side of my face to the left side and then fly away all while staying focused on marching to the right spots, playing the right music, and not swatting the bug which would make the band lose points.
