I am a huge fan of Flyleaf. It's hard to belive this girl has been hiding under the radar. I'm also surprised she is not BIG. Amazing song and hope more comes out like it. The Gothic feel is nice.. and you are spreading the word of God at the same time.
Heard this on 107.9 FM Lexington, SC. Faith in Christ gives one a less self centered will which actually functions cleaner purer and more efficiently. Not neglecting natural duties. Not pursuing spiritual ones out of fear and need but in loving gratitude for Christ's work already done.
This rocks! More importantly, taking NOTHING away from your' hard work, or the gifts you've been given, I thank you for using your' platform to tell folks THE Good News! This made my day, then reading the comments I was moved again seeing so talented a singer using her gifts also as a ministry. Thank you.
A cliche is something that is overused to the point that it has lost all meaning...Running to God is never cliche. :) He is the author and finisher of our faith. Reading the bible should never be considered cliche either unless we have lost the reason behind why we do it in the first place. I believe that God (Jesus) is the solution to every problem. The bible tells us he is the way the truth and the life as well as the healer, the redeemer, our father, our protector, our king and our Savior! :)
Very edifying, very strong message for God, I guess it takes someone who has been kicked down and abused by the world, to understand that showing someone healing from that is critical, you won't reach the dying masses if you sugar coat reality and don't help them face their past and grow.
I started off as a reggae, Ragga and dancehall fan (being from Jamaica), then I heard rap and fell in love with it when leas about 10 or 11 yrs old. Became a Christian when I was about 18 yrs old and started listening to Christian versions of the above genres. This is the first time I have heard a song by this group and it sounds good. I have just gotten a list of Christian rock bands from the net: Icon for Hire, Flyleaf, The Letter Black, FireFlight, Bannerhill and Worth Dying For - cool groups! Just been checking them out on CZcams between last night and this morning and I am impressed! I am already a fan of BarlowGirl too. Eowyn was the last group on my list.
good music and very good job. as always have people wanting to find fault in the way God took the people, but the important thing is to make them understand and meet God. Congratulations to the band.
yeah, i agree with you. It leaves memories that don't ever go away. It's simply a road that everyone walks differently. :) but hope all will end well with you.
This is so totally an awesome music video & the song is so totally big time rocking Bad to the Bone. I love this song right here beautiful ashes.+ I am hoping that eowyn is going to be working on a new CD soon. would love to hear new music from her + would love to see new music videos from her. and would love to see a new Tour by eowyn. Can't help it (( EOWYN )) is a fantastic singer Point Blank.
AWSOME just discovered her on Facebook of all places and will be getting all of her CDs, I discovered Skillet on youtube and have been hooked ever since. Eowyn has a new fan! I'll have to turn my stepdaughter on to he like I did Skillet
im beautiful! the more u say it the more ull believe it:) tis song isnt bad. i jus found tis since im tryin to listen to other ppl other than the ones i know., if u guys know other singers or bands if u cud plz tell me. any type of genre is fine but preferably rock:)
I've listened to her for about 5 years, I've noticed she's not doing her rock songs anymore, she's doing more calmer music that sounds kinda like any other Christian music. I loved her old style cause it was unique and not other singers you'd always hear or easily find in the Christian book stores. I miss her hard core lyrical songs.
I really don't know what i have to think about the song. First: Amazing band, and much more amazing voice. The first song i heard was Clichè and as i understanded the meaning it was like somebody looked in my heart. But this song? Ok it is great music - and great message of course. But is it also a cliché? That God or reading the bible solves every problem? Yes - He he the power. And he want the best for my life. But sometimes it takes a lot of time and faith to stand these problems.
I was looking for a new band to listen to because lacey left flyleaf and after a week of crying abt it and searching by the first 20 secs of listening to this song I was like "I found them. The search is over."
It's interesting...I thought I heard a controversy like this back in the days when I started listening to Evanescence...I remember Amy Lee saying in an interview..: "In the beginning, they thought we're a Christian band....But we're not..."
astro guy79, You cannot say (and should not be trying to say) who is and who is not a Christian. I don't know where you got that statistic from and I see no verification. Amy Lee is a professing Christian, but her band is not. That is why she has so many band changes. I know one thing, as a mother of a 21 year old daughter who is married to a 22 year old, I would rather have her and her husband listening to this lady than Ozzy Osborne or Marilyn Manson. Christians are all professing Christians and no one knows who is and who is not or has the right to judge. I am grateful there are Christian musicians out there for the youth of today. Matthew 7:1-3 - 'Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?'
@@48lilyofthevalley I'm just saying that because 'most' of these bands refuse christ in their interviews, they don't like the word christian. Yes, this music is better than a lot of music out there. I'm not judging anybody, just saying that just because they're labeled christian doesn't mean that they are and be careful what you listen too. God bless you!
astro guy79, I don't like the word Christian anymore, either. The Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, and a whole slew of false teachers inside of Christendom use it. Bible believing Christian is my preference. I am 55 year old mother and I doubt you are able to comprehend the responsibility of parenthood. My daughter and her husband are Christians and I am doing my research and finding bands that are Christian for them as they are both music lovers. I know plenty about Amy Lee and so does my daughter. I do my research. The truth is there if you are diligent and want to find it. Amy Lee is a professing Christian and I know it. Parents take the time and care enough about their child's spiritual welfare in an upside down counter-culture so they have bands that don't scream and yell blaspheming God or just using satanically or sexually inspired lyrics. Maybe you had better listen to Eowyn's lyrics again. By the way, it was me who found her after a very extensive search for Christian musicians to show my daughter. There are more than you think and that is great. They may not be worship bands, but they are Christians and God gives people all kinds of gifts. These are the ones God gifted with musical gifts to reach the struggling millennials out there. I am grateful they did not shy away. Jeremiah 11:20 - 'But, O LORD of Hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and mind, let me see Your vengeance upon them, for I have committed my cause to You.'
@LindaRaquel2312 Nah, it's actually a valid point. It's how a lot of bands work, using a "carnal" image to connect with their fans, even Biblically sound groups sometimes do it. But overall I think the song and gritty video have a good message, which is something even secular groups do. :) The song does point the listener towards God, so I think it still deserves a thumbs up. Take care. :)

Fell in love with Eowyn back around 2006-07 when she was on Showbread's Nothing Matters Anymore tour. Hadn't heard anything from her in a while so on a whim I looked her up. The production value on this album are miles away from the 3 albums I have of her. This song is kind of a mess. It's disjointed and all over the place. But she still looks amazing and kicks ass as usual.

Finally find another great Christian band, and I find them 10 years too late. 🤦🏽♂️
Lol. You to
The best music
I like a lot the voice ... A++

Just good rock works very well to hear a female lead in rock music!! This is so good!! I find u now but heard u then...

God is a Rock's God.
Just discovered her yesterday - loved it so much that I bought two of her CD's.
I love her voice!
Great message. Great song for people struggling; gives them hope. Love you, Jesus!
I Love.
gosh they are good. one of my fans told me that i sounded like them and to check them out. i am truly honored.
Uniquely beautiful voice! Now please arrange for a duet with Lacey Sturm. Please?
Omg dont! That would be tooooo goooood!!!
I'd die happily
Not exactly unique. She sounds quite a bit like Alanis Morissette. That's not to say she's bad, but not unique.
There are many songs of her that made me confused with Lacey of Flyleaf!
Awesome!!
every trial and tribulation makes you into a better person and much much stronger to withstand just about anything.
Linda música, amei.
Musica linda estou viciado conheci essa música hj
Amo essa música, essa letra, esse clipe
Oh my God! You have a similar vocal style to Delores O'Riordhan of the Cranberries (R.I.P) - Love it.
for the love of God
good music and very good job.
as always have people wanting to find fault in the way God took the people, but the important thing is to make them understand and meet God. Congratulations to the band.

95% of ''Christian bands'' aren't even Christians. I guess old Hymns is about all we really have.
