This is so much easier than what my paper instructions show. I was confused on the back stitch. And you made it so much easier
Diagrams are always so hard to follow. Much easier in a video. Glad it helped!
@@CutesyCrafts I LOOOOOVE THIS THANKS SOOOO MUCH
I like how you explain it slowly and show how to do the stitches. I am learning disabled and have a form of dyslexia. Your video helped me a lot. Thank you!
OMG!! I’m so glad I found your videos. Without your stitch tutorials I would of never figured out how to do a French knot.
So glad they are helping!
I like this video review of the the basic stitches with links to specific stitch videos. These demos are short, sweet and informative which is exactly what I need.
Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for these tutorials. I was going by the paper instructions and definitely did it wrong. I am now IN LOVE with embroidery. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so much for this very well explained tutorial. I was going crazy trying the French knot over and over again and always ending up with a lonely tiny stitch :)
I love the way you explain things! I was following along with a different page (with pictures) and got confused. I knew there would be a video out there that explained it, and fortunately I found one of yours. I immediately subscribed and decided to switch over to learn from here instead of the other page because you're such a great teacher and you make it so simple! Thank you so much for your help!
Thank you! So glad my videos have been helpful..
Explained wonderfully! Thank you!
Thank you for this. Mich clearer explanation than what the paper says 🙂
Great tutorial. So clear, so easy to understand. And if I need more detail I can go to your other videos! Thank you. This has cleared up a lot of confusion.
Thank you for the great tutorial. Will keep it bookmarked!
Thanks so much for detailed tutorial on all these beautiful hand embroidery stitches!
Thank you! You did a wonderful job explaining how to do all the stitches.
i understand it now. thanks for the explanation
This is such a huge help!!!!!
Thank you for share! A great guide for beginners.
Beautiful video shearing big like friends
Excellent for beginners
Thanks for the lovely tutorial. May I ask how many threads you use at a time? I’m new to this. Is 2 or 3 standard?
Thanks soooo much. I could not figure out the french knot from my paper instruction😅
super helpful ❤
Think you very much
Let’s say I want to do hand embroidery on a baseball cap, do I need to use some type of stabilizer or can I just embroider without it ?
It depends on how floppy/thin the fabric is on the hat. You could use stick on sulky fabri solvy, which would also help transfer your design. Then it just washes away.
❤️❤️❤️
Hi! What size of the needle is used in this video? 😊
I'm using a size 3 needle in this video since I have 6 strands of thread. Here are the recommended needle sizes: one strand=size 10 needle, two strands=size 9 needle, three strands=size 8 needle, 6 strands=size 3 needle
Love your videos Jessica. I just sent you an email about a sponsorship.
❤❤❤❤
Is the split stitch known by another name? I don't see that one listed!!
That's the only name I know it by.
I messed up on the wheel, but that's because I didn't space the lines evenly 🤔...it's just practice though 😂
Absolutely! And now you'll know what not to do next time! Haha!
Is the long / short stich missing?
This is just a summary of beginner stitches. I have individual videos for each one, including the long and short. You can find it here: czcams.com/video/sAO2g08AvS8/video.htmlsi=kvj03oqxD43nrJUR
