A Polylite shell w/fiber reinforcement and Polyacrilite injected chin bar w/EXOskeleton adds strength without sacrificing weight. 11 high-flow air intakes and 14 exhaust ports and large ventilation chin bar openings aid in cooling and comfort in all conditions. If you shake your head can you hear the mips creaking?
Schad here - I've worn the Stage MIPS quite a bit myself and haven't noticed that when riding. Would like the rest of the community to chime on this one. Anyone get noise from the MIPS liner over bumps?
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Stage and the Stage Nova?
There is only one STAGE helmet, the Nova is just a colorway.

Hi Bogdan, All TLD Stage Helmets now come with MIPS. So to answer you question...no. You can no longer purchase a Stage helmet without the MIPS technology.
Would this be a good helmet to use on an electric scooter that goes about 40-45mph?
Hey Russ, If you moving at motorized speeds on asphalt we would not recommend the Troy Lee Stage helmet. You'll defiantly want to purchase a DOT certified motorcycle helmet.
This is what I use. On a flat the body armor is equally important at that speed. DH can easily reach 35-45 mph and these helmets are there for trees or boulders.
I'd rather fall on smooth concrete and slide slowly than hit a boulder
This guy has no excuse for being late.
