This must be easy mode. Hardly any action, in the big battle near the end you pick up ammo even though you dont need it and stick with the weak pistol the whole time.
Doing this on nightmare, you definitely need to use the shotgun and have painkillers equipped to stop the symptoms of injury as you will sustain a few hits

not at all, this game has real time cutscenes with photorealistic graphics with mesh shader. That game doesnt look like this :)

Looks great! Im not sure why but this Game isnt for me. It looks great and plays well but something in the Gameplayloop makes no Fun from me personally. The „Detective Stuff“ was a bit annoying for me . I had the same Problems with all Remedy Games
The old school cd's based PC game's like "CSI: Miami (2004)" was pretty fun, great game for its time, give it a go, you might enjoy it.
CSI: Miami, has a nice investigative and story line, the game can be a little challenging in its later levels

Quite the contrary I believe. There are some great things in this game. But bad ones too. I loved how detailed the places are and the light/shadow engine is truly incredible, my jaw is still somewhere in the house, even with RT options deactivated. BUT yeah, gameplay was a letdown for me for one thing combat felt weird until the end.
All these graphics but the animation still looks like shit and there's no impact on anything.
EXACTLY my complaint about almost every game, now. Nothing ever has any impact on the environment! Remember what Gabe Newell said once about half-life and how amazing it was just to write your name on the walls (as I did at the time and I was amazed).
The lighting engine is absolutely gorgeous, a sort of tech demo of what can be done with shadows, but the game is boring, not well paced, and they missed storytelling in a game that depends on it greatly.

Couldn’t do this game. Bought it, played about halfway in….VERY boring in my opinion. Just so redundant with enemies just whispering “Wake” over and over for scenes on end. I don’t know how this game gets accolades let alone even put up for sale.

@@ChoolyBuzkill That was cringe too. One of the only parts I liked (not that much, though) besides exploring for the first time such detailed places and such a crazily realist light engine. As a game it was boring and had multiple problems. The pleasure was to admire the environment detail and path tracing, really. I'll probably just replay it once with a trainer to re-vesit every little detail, because I'm just a nerd for virtual light transport.
Plus it all feels like a cheap Stephen King novel adaptation, and it's annoying because the universe that plagiarize SCP had such potential (control was a terrible game, way worse in my opinion, it had some potential too).
Overall I just hope they can do better with such a great and unique tech. But now I'm pretty sure their next game will just re-use a ton of things.
