- Santa came early to the Watershed Overlook (in a FedEx truck) and delivered my long-awaited Woodland Mills WG24 Stump Grinder. In this video I take delivery from a super-nice delivery driver, then unbox and set up the grinder

You're going to love having a stump grinder. I bought the Baumalight in 2020 and wish I could have paid less for it but even at the higher price I still consider it one of the best investments I've made for my tractor. 3 weeks ago I took down 2 Mulberry trees, a Poplar and a Red Oak. I cleaned up the limbs and the trunks and then ground up all 4 stumps. Total project time less than 4 hours. My neighbor commented how awesome everything looked when I was done.
Just go easy at first until you get use to how it torques your tractor when grinding. Have fun!

got mine last month its awesome!! and the crate it comes in makes an excellent table with a piece of plywood! happy grinding!
also i watched a ton of videos prior to buying it. tighten your lower link arm turnbuckles to where there is no left or right play in it. and if youre looking at the grinder from the back towards the front, use the 6 to 9 oclock position on the flywheel to do the cutting and start grinding the right side of the stump otherwise it tends to jump around.

Thanks for watching and the kind words Tod. I had change of heart with my first box blade, but was able to cancel one order and place another (And then another!) Same with my rear blade...ordered the LP RB1572, but ended up selling and procuring an RB1672 to accommodate hydraulics. (There's videos on all that.) We live and we learn. The good thing is there's a big pool of potential buyers out there if you choose to flip one thing for another! Best of luck...👍

I have the same grinder if you have less than 40hp you will want to remove that quick hitch and get it close to the tractor as possible i found it out the hard way it broke my turn buckle
Good to know. Do you mean the turnbuckles that adjust the three point arms?
Is there a maximum stump size they recommend that you don’t go beyond with those Chris.
I don't think Woodland Mills gives a recommendation. I expect it's up to how patient you're willing to be, as size = time. I'm thinking 24" will be about as much as will typically tackle.

Determine the angle θ between the direction of the applied force and the vector between the point the force is applied to the pivot point.
