Thrilled to see money from Zambia, I was brought up in Zambia and that bird is a Fish Eagle, the symbol for Zambia. Beautiful game parks in Zambia and a third of all the water in Africa is in Zambia. Check it out. Absolutely stunning Journals by the way. The other image on the back of the money is the Kariba Damn on the biggest man-made lake in the world. Zimbabwe on the other side and Zambia on the other.

Hello, yikes these are beautiful, I love watching your videos, going to take years to get something like that done 🙈. Now the hand written letter in the German language, is that a print & is it available in your digital library 🤷🏼♀️ perhaps ? I watched lots of your videos & have done some coffee dye paper to for the first time ever & decided to play around with a flower stencil & it almost looks like the one in the first journal books you showed. Lol, must get good aroma coffee though, my first try because I used cheap cheap coffee, that was a no no, especially if your gifting it 🙃 I can watch your channel all day & your background singing 😌

Beautiful journals! I was just listening to the last podcast where I believe you were still working on one of them. Can we comment on the podcasts? I have two things to tell you. 1) If you order used books from Thriftbooks.com, order the "library edition" if they are available. They sometimes come with the library pocket and signed card still attached! The other was a question: 2) Did you see Gina's video of her making some fabric using tiny scraps and some kind of water soluble embroidery fusing? It looks like something that you would really enjoy.

They are lovely!! Please can I ask where you get all your old letters, postcards, photos and ledger papers from? I would love to use something like that in my journals. I think they make the whole experience so much more interesting. And YES! Please do a tutorial on the tags in the last page of the journal called 'notes'. Would love to make them. Thank you xxx

Some of my favorite hunting grounds are garage sales, estate sales, friends and family, businesses who are going paperless, thrift shops, antique stores and good old ebay :) Happy hunting! It's fun! :) And yes, I will put that embellishment on the idea list! :
This is frustrating. They are beautiful books. Every time one comes for sale it seems to be gone before I even have a chance to see them for the first time. My time zone is 3 hours earlier. I I need to be up at 3 or 4am to have a chance. I can’t even think at that time of day. Hopefully some day I’ll get lucky.
I am thinking of a way around this Carol...I may still upload the video at 7am on Sat's but make them live for sale on Etsy at noon EST. That way most can see the videos and see whats in the journals then have a go at buying them later in the day :) I will give this some thought :)
