@@dumpsterfire3214 exactly. Some words sound just like german but mean an entirely different thing or are just phrased in a way that no one would use here. My comment is a but older and this is asmr so i don' remember what he said. But i want to give you an example. So nikki tutorials has a few vids in dutch and i remember that she did something like a q&a with the bf (i think). They were talking anout who of them is taller ,and it was something like " jetzt bin ich viel länger als du ,aber damals nicht" ehich roughly translates to " now i am longer than you ,but back then i wasn't" and you know, no one says that but you still know what they meant😂 visiting the netherlands is sometimes very chill and easy and sometimes you're just constantly wondering what the other person said😂 their accent when talking german is reallycute tho😳 (but i think only people living close to the border or people in amsterdam actually talk german if they think you're a tourist🤔)

Dutch seems to be a mix of German,englisch and french
it is only smooth when you dont have a hard G rolling R speaker tbh, otherwise it is super intense. great for swearing ❤️😁

@@95seoyeon Well, it's like you said, dutch and german are very similiar. For me written dutch is just like the heaviest dialect there could be.
But i just don't understand the spoken parts, because it's too fast and also too different from german.

I have the same, but then with German. I can follow a simple conversation in German if they speak slowly and clear. The language is so similar, but at the same time so different.
I'm Dutch and German is more difficult for me personally than French. Most all the male, female, objective etc pronouns, die der das den and stuff. Because we Dutch don't learn those rules anymore, we just learn them while we grow up.

I recently came back from Amsterdam and I’m having withdrawal symptoms! This was exactly what I needed to be a little bit happy again and to remind me of all the special places I went to and all the cheese I ate that doesn’t exist in my country. I miss all my friends and their language 😭😭😭

This is sort of weird, but you've been a great source of comfort for me the past month or so. My boyfriend just shipped off to basic training, and it's been hard getting through the nights without him. You're just so friendly and sweet and you give a nice personal touch to your videos that I don't find in some other ASMRtists. Even when you're just rambling, or when you speak in a language I can't even understand lol, its nice to have you around. Your videos are good company and make me feel a lot less lonely. Keep up the good work, and thank you for what you do.

I usually don't let myself fall asleep when listening to ASMR if I can help it since then I won't be able to charge my phone overnight (and it's always a struggle trying to stay awake, lol). Last night I put this video on and within 5 minutes I was passed out. Woke up around 2:30 AM with my headphones still in. Safe to say this was very relaxing, pure whispers are my favorite trigger! Thank you for helping me sleep, you're awesome! ✌️
