Came across you with your Sam Gamgee speech (I just did it for a competition) and I have just binge watched all your stuff and I have to say IT’S AMAZING! I have been acting for under a year now and all of this has been an inspiration.

I am a very very beginner in acting as a matter of fact I never acted before ever hahaha. I would like to learn though do you have any tips or videos on acting basics. Also, the Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been crying was super good very cool. What did you do initially to practice or start your acting journey I am starting mine now?
Hi JuJu! I think acting is a very personal journey - there are all sorts of techniques and methods, and different things work for different people, so I don't think there's any one way to act! A piece of advice that I found really helpful though, is to get really good at listening. As people, we spend most of our time listening and responding to the world and people around us, and that's really what acting is: taking in information and then responding to it! It's easy to get caught up in your head, thinking about how you want your performance to look or whether you're doing a good job, but often the best acting comes from focusing on the people/world around you and really being affected by them. Hope that helps!
