Rising definitely had that Post Human: Survival Horror sound
The best BMTH album, imho, and Rising would definitely fit right in. Just sprinkle some Oli`s harsh vocals into Rising and it will become god-tier
@@oleksandr_ins Yeah. To each their own, I’ve been a fan since Count Your Blessings and felt they peaked at Sempiternal. Excited what they come up next because Daidai (an artist from my fave band Paledusk) is helping them write and produce their next work.

Shatter with choreo even more badass
They did the choreo on shatter in opening of the VillainS showcase, look it up
I'm absolutely in love with Rising.
Those riffs, those drum fills. Closer to "classic" as in "non-K-Pop" Hard Rock or Metal than ever before.
"Satter" is a Medusa concept song.
It's about a speaker who turns into a stone and shouts for the last time
I think the last part of the song ends without ending because the speaker turns into a rock

DG you are absolutely right, this is exactly why I love DC probably more than other kpop groups. of course I have been fans of kpop for over 20 years and I have seen a good number of groups have success and a good number of groups failed and abandoned. but DC has this tenacity, this resilience that touches me. even if their fanbase is minimal compared to groups from big agencies, they have immense respect and generosity for their fanbase. I've seen an astronomical number of videos with DC and they talk very, very often about their fans. and very few groups seem as sincere to me. Reason and Rising are probably my two favorite songs this year. I am also happy to see that each member has really evolved and that each member has managed to shine with special mention in Handong, who since returning from China has had an increasing presence in the group. For a long time Jiu and Yoohyeon were the main characters of DC's story lines but it seems that things are evolving and everyone has their moment in this album.

And my favourite no. 1 is we are young....idk why this song give me sad vibe ...or calm vibe .. I'm sleeping while playing this song.. it's perfect for get peaceful sleeping.. cause it's so calm song too..and of course it's because they voice and this song is beautiful

MY MIND IS BREAKING, spiritual awakening, AOTY beat all their previous albums for me which is insane as I've been holding tight to Tree of Language and Road to Utopia for years
Rising:
- I agree that it gives Reason vibes. And since I adore that song, I also quite like this one.
Shatter:
- I like most of it
- I'm not the greatest fan of anti-drops, and this chorus is currently too noisy and repetitive for me. So much so that it ruins the song for me. This might change after more listens though.
We Are Young:
- the 1st and 2nd choruses are a bit too empty for me. I wish there were some vocals in there (during the second run for example, or like they did in the 3rd chorus)
- the switch to the bridge has a bit of a weird stop/start for me.
- these are minor things though. The song is a party. I like it. Should do great in concerts 😊
I feel very similarly to you about Shatter. That chorus kind of kills the song for me, though the last chorus is a bit better. It has grown on me a little with a few listens, but I’m still not fully sold.

hard to rank this album, but for me Rising is an absolute Dreamcatcher's song.
OOTD not on my top list title track, but it give some kind of addict in my head.
Shatter give unique feels in the album. chills, scared, idk. Yoohyeon on the background before song end just really good.
We Are Young, give another feeling when listen it. Less comment because this song least repeated than others. But in some ways and some situations, this song enhanced.
can't wait for 2nd part of this era, I believe Dreamcatcher can't made a bad song.
