The concert version of The Curse of the Spider is considerably heavier than the original. I was fortunate enough to hear it at the actual concert two months ago. I knew that they had some kind of remix of this song but boy, was I not prepared for what they hit me with.

The backing track track on the concert video was replaced by a newly recorded and modified version. The vocals from the concert where kept. The concert itself had the original recorded version.
Yoohyeon and Dami, bored and too wired to sleep after their Hong Kong concert, decide to make a video on the deserted streets. They love Day 6. No other group does things like this. Handong wandering the streets of Paris while doing a cover of Taeyeon's 11:11 is another similar 'I've got an idea' clip. Their company is fully behind the creativity of these amazing women. That is rare in Kpop.

Btw, what you mention about 1 thing Yoohyeon release&deleted/never shown = the 2nd teaser of WHAT MV (Yoohyeon in dessert)
She sang both with her high singing voice, which she usually uses for singing, and with her low rapping voice, which is rare. Very cool cover.
And the metal version of The Curse of the Spider is one of their best songs. Collab with Lorna Shore when?

The original one a little bit more EDM Rock sound...this song a tribute to their previous Nightmare Series...the bridge part of the original version kinda similar to the intro of their Japanese track 'Breaking Out' which is also a part of Nightmare Series..

The original version of Curse of the Spider has a Self-made MV (unreleased) they usually play it at concerts but you can find it on youtube (fancam but quality is actually ok )

The original song doesn't have an mv or an official released video, but they did make a Special Clip for it that they only showed during their concert. So there's only a cam of it. Someone muted the audience sounds and put the studio music under it:

It's been a long time since I've heard anyone putting Dreamcatcher and anime sound in the same video ;)
When it comes to "Love me or leave me" it was released on the first day of Lesbian Week of Visibility. Dreamcatcher has always been LGBTQ-friendly, so a big thank you for them. This is most certainly not common in korean music industry.

It sounds like an Anime Intro because Dreamcatcher are inspired by Japanese Rock & Metal (which is also inspired by Western Rock & Metal but is still different) so I wish K Pop Stans start realising that and Stop saying that other Groups copy Dreamcatcher when they do a Rock Song because other Groups are heavily inspired by Western Rock & not Japanese Rock
And yes the Special Clip is Yet again a fantastic Work done by DC 🤌🏻

Others have already touched on the differences between the original and the 2024 version so I won't expand in that. I'll instead mention that Curse of the Spider was a b-side off of the Raid of Dream special album that DC did in collaboration with King's Raid. The title track was Deja Vu 💜🫠 That album also has Silent Night on it so the entire thing was quite a treat! Curse of the Spider was also the first song that Dreamcatcher did a self-made music video for, which they would continue to do throughout their Dystopia series. It was a fan favorite that never really got the treatment it deserved. My guess is that this is their way of doing it right: crunchy metal riffs, sexy drums, and spotlighting it with an official live MV.
