Thanks for sharing. Those are essential tips to be as professional as possible. Over the years if I failed to do one of those things I usually regretted it. My "Send it to a friend" was someone who wasn't very tech savvy, had a PC rather than a Mac, and that always had some bizarre preferences set on it. If he could download the file and play it, I knew the client could too. The only other thing I did when sending a file was to ask the client to confirm delivery and if they had any difficulties downloading or playing/viewing the file. You'd be surprised how many people receive files and don't attempt to open them until they need it a week or two later.
Ah yes. Confirmation that they actually tried it is a good one! WeTransfer is great as at least it can tell you when it’s downloaded but you still don’t know if they opened it!

Yeah it’s probably one of my most used tips. One day later I will usually know if it’s the best I can do vs needing tweaks. If it’s been delivered already then you are in the tough position of redelivering which taints the delivery and can cause confusion.
