Beautiful Cherry & Rape blossoms! Isumi Railway Kazusa-Nakano to Ohara, Chiba pref, Japan

- The Isumi Line (いすみ線, Isumi-sen) is a railway line in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by the third-sector railway operating company Isumi Railway Company. It extends through the central eastern section of the Bōsō Peninsula, linking Ōhara Station in the city of Isumi, where it connects with the Sotobō Line, to Kazusa-Nakano Station in the town of Ōtaki, where it connects with the Kominato Line.
It is famous for its rape blossoms and runs a 'rape blossom train' in spring.
The train passes the JNR diesel train Kiha 52 + Kiha 28 at Kuniyoshi Station on the way!

春3月の終わりに乗ったいすみ鉄道の車窓から見た風景は昭和の昔にタイムスリップしたかのようなのどかで穏やかな里山でした。東京近郊でありながら、東京とはまったく違う時間がそこには流れていました。
房総の内陸に踏み入れば、現代から取り残されたような不思議で物静かな世界が広がっているのです。

Nice to see a semaphore signal at Kuniyoshi station, those must be a bit rare to be seen in Japan today. And again at Kuniyoshi station on the opposite platform what is the man with the yellow box on his head doing?? He is wearing a yellow vest so I guess he might be a railway worker??

真岡鐵道とそっくり。
上総中野で小湊鉄道が連絡してはいるが、養老渓谷、上総中野の運行数間は極めて少なく不便なのは昔から同じ。高校時代、房総半島横断のを実行するも、養老渓谷止まりの列車と確認せず、大変な目にあった。運賃も高いし！
