Time to move on lads. I’m sure there are more up to date sports topics to be discussed. OTB already rehashed this over the weekend.

I’m of the opinion that were still talking about Roy Keane Saipan situation twenty years on goes to show that Ireland have nothing to offer in soccer since that,I’m Irish and i remember the jack charlton era and it was brilliant, but there’s very little else to talk about except that Troy parrot is very good looking and I’m straight

I reckon we should move on. No one cares anymore. Great thing about sport is the next game. Journo's are just a side show.

Still one of the biggest stories in Irish Sport… We still go on about Italia 90 and US 94, this is the story of 2002 World Cup!

You can move on if you want. Why are you speaking on behalf of every football fan?

Just don't watch / listen if you are not interested in it. I could listen to Dion all day, new angle of the journalist's reaction to the whole thing very interesting.

It’s an interesting story, why not talk about it? I’d rather listen to this than them going on about city winning their 4th league in 5 years 🥱

@@seankinsellasean Maybe Sean. I just find it boring. I'd listen to it if Roy or Mick opened up about it and talked about why they did what they did and whether they had any regrets. No interest in listening to journalists using it to fill a column or half an hour broadcast time.

I've always been surprised that Tom Humphries' referrimg in his book around then "...Nanny Goat Mambo" that Keane had suffered with bouts of depression wasn't discussed more. And, as Dion alludes to here, if Keane had stopped drinking because he had to rather than wanted to then he was arguably in the throes of a very dark period.

I think it’s a shame that Roy Keane was forced to leave the Ireland set up,it seems that it was all very hush hush and in house stuff, with regards to the public.but as it unfolds it seems that Roy Keane was left blowing in the wind, isolated and the players opted to stand against him,in particular mick McCarthy,,if it was me i believe that i would stayed in priority, but an unhappy camp would lead to failure, especially when Roy Keane didn’t want to be in the team

Worst Dunphy impression ever! But proof positive that Eamonn never learned not to continually issue never ending statements of certitude.
