Even when your birds don't cooperate, your videos are still great
Budgies are so smart! My buddies (as I call them) knows they’re not allowed certain places and I just tell them get out of there coupled with a hand motion and they’ll go back to their perch. They’re rascals because they KNOW what they’re doing and sometimes I feel like they’re low key trolling me to get my attention
because they are... flock of 7 over here..lol
Budgies have manipulative cuteness. They can rob banks and commit tax fraud, if you don't keep an eye out.
⬆️ Underrated comment! 🤣 ⬆️
My budgie signed up for more information about a timeshare from a CZcams ad. Next step is world domination.
I LOVE the thoughts that Blueberry has during the videos. They always crack me up.
Out of your whole flock, blueberry I feel has the most main character energy.
Ive noticed, the smaller the bird, the more they fly or move around, Mine is bigger than a budgie, conure, so he will stay in one place for much longer period of time, or if I tell him to "station" learned how to teach him "station", for you guys , thanx Jamie for all your training vids. Amazing they can all be incorporated no matter the species!!❤❤
We had a budgie that would just randomly like to have a mad fly about for a short period of time and would then just go back to being relaxed and happy
Wonderful video 👍👍❤️
Super cute blueberry🤩😍😘
Oh Berry. You are such a cutie.
Ahh the video that should be titled "Birduardo being Birduardo". Okay so it's normal for them to "Launch Pad Mcquack" into everything. Lol
A frantic budgie is all I know. LOL
What I did to get my budgie back was to just stand still with my arm out and she would eventually perch on my hand. It didn't take too long because she loved staying close to me. The worst time she got stuck somewhere when darting around the place was when she got herself stranded behind the washing machine. I got her back by using a long stick that she grabbed onto and I lifted her up. I miss my little Pepper.
My budgie is having massive spring hormones already, and is being a SPAZZ recently, buzzing over my other birds heads and even landing on them. It’s causing massive havoc in our home. Treats work sometimes. But I wish I had realized how much easier my parrotlets would be than budgies. Budgies are so quick and constantly on the move, whereas parrotlets are slow and often just want to cuddle for hours. Still, I love my budgie budge. They’re just mildly infuriating 😊
Capri is a lot like me (although 3 years younger) so happy that bluee will have a (lot) happier life than the start of it
I love your trees! Will like to have at least 2 of them. Where did you get them? L❤ Blueberry 😊
If anyone has any questions or things they’re like fixed (that sounds wrong, anyway) I’d love to help feel free to reply
Berry you are just too cute!
Another thing to do is to make sure your blinds are closed so that they don't fly into the windows
Or put up stickers. Or train them. My birds have access to 3 large wraparound windows and don’t fly into them.
A lace curtain can be more than enough, it's also a great lather for them
@@draalttom844 and a great place for them to get fabric stuck in their crops
Budgies are smart. Just show them a couple of times, that there's glass, let them touch it and they will know that they can't fly through the opening. I've never had issues with glass crashing with any of my birds.
Blueberry being a total diva today. 😂
Love your bird!!! Blueberry is so cute!
Hey... I'm getting a couple flightless budgies. They're not clipped or injured (veterinary checked), but we think they're traumatized (?... One of the was being bullied by his cage partners, and the other was found in the streets after crashing against something). They do perch and move around, they are playful and are capable of flapping whenever they're out of their cage in the pet store, but now that I'm taking them home I'm wondering which would be the best cage for them, since they prefer moving around by climbing the walls and pretty much anything they can grab on to...
Can you please give me your opinion on this? I want to do the best for them!
And btw, thanks for your content. It's amazing!
My budgie flew today 😢
This may seem stupid but will the budgie course work for cockatiels too?
Yes definitely! (some of the things like training to go though a toilet paper roll might not be possible but you can variate to using your hand)
I don't think so, mine has been here for 2 months, he still fly's like there's something he's scared of, breathing fast 🤦 he has nothing to be scared of
You need to desensitise your bird of more things or if he’s scared of you then use power pause technique also imagine being that tiny looking up at a human would be terrifying if you didn’t know it wasn’t going to harm you and it could take a year or longer my birds took a about a year
