This is true the late Sister somewhere in South or East Africa was the first. She has the grace of God on her. She has gone to her reward

I doubt if our dear sister is the first female national overseer.The Lord has been using many sisters in the past to establish churches in many countries without an overseer, but without title.Title mean nothing, national overseer is a title but those who keeps doing the work of the Lord will be exalted.

God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This does not imply men are better teachers or that women are inferior or less intelligent. It is simply the way God designed the church to function. Men are to set the example in spiritual leadership-in their lives and through their words. Women are also to set an example in their lives, but in a different way (1 Peter 3:1-6). Women are encouraged to teach other women (Titus 2:3-5). The Bible also does not restrict women from teaching children. The only activity women are restricted from is teaching or having spiritual authority over men. This bars women from serving as pastors to men. This does not make women less important, by any means; rather, it gives them a ministry focus more in agreement with God’s design.

4)Isaiah's wife, Isaiah 8 :3,
5)Anna, Luke 2:36 - 38.
Hmmmm, if JESUS Calls your wife and daughters to work for HIM please allow them to do the work of GOD. Do not RESTRICT, DELAY nor STOP them to work for GOD. Although by doing this, there is a reward for it and it is called chastisement, wrath of GOD for both the husbands and wives and daughters. GOD is not a clone. GOD calls both men and women, toddlers, teenagers, youth, adults, and old(young and old). HE WANTS HIS WORK TO BE DONE ON TIME WITHOUT ANY DELAY. And, whosoever tries to delays, hinders or stops the works of GOD gets punished without any mercy. Such person can only receive mercy if he /she is doing the work of GOD.
GOD SAYS ' AND it shall come to pass that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh ;and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:28. KJV.
Many men /churches misinterprets The Holy Bible by saying men only are called by GOD to work for HIM while women should be at home helping their husbands and taking care of their children and house also speaking alone inside, she must not be heard outside. These are the reasons many husbands, fathers, churches sending their wives, daughters, women in the church that GOD ALMIGHTY calls to work for HIM to untimely death based on the things they don't know but claimed they know. The Bible says in the book of proverbs '... Seek for knowledge... '. I'm sorry for being harsh. Have seen and heard of women, daughters that GOD CALLED but failed to do the work because of their husbands, fathers, and churches and passed on and ended up in hell fire. You know GOD HATES DISOBEDIENCE. HE CALLS YOU AND YOU ARE GIVEN EXCUSES. For delaying or refusing to do the work you know how GOD PUNISHES you? Some even missed it. Why restricting your wives, daughters, women in the church to answer GOD'S CALL? As you know the numbers of suffering, punishment, you men received for refusing to work for GOD when HE CALLS you in the beginning before you later agreed, so also women receives their. I know the numbers of punishment, suffering, afflictions, etc that I received for not answering on time. I didn't want to do it. I refused to do it, (work for GOD) for many, many, years and I also paid for it bitterly for many years before my parent helped me but not withstanding I paid for it bitterly. That's why it hurts me seeing or hearing that wives, daughters, women in the house of GOD are restricted to do the work which GOD CALLS them to do. Many had died in silence while many are still dying in silence because they don't know what to say. They don't even know what to do. No one to help. Those that they can rely on denied them by saying otherwise. Please, allow your wives, daughters, women in the church of GOD that GOD calls to do the work of GOD with peace. A man pastor told me one time face to face that, his wife can not come to him and say that GOD CALLS OR SEND HER OUT. He will not allow her. That the LORD will first and foremost comes to him as father and son, and send him to his wife. He is the head... GOD used me to tell him that if you truly obey GOD, you are serving HIM truly, you will hear when your GOD speaks to you through her. What if it's a test from the LORD that says let's see if truly he obey ME. The only thing you can do is to take it to the LORD if truly you are serving /worshiping true GOD. And if it appears to GOD THAT this son's prayer request looks /sounds disobeying HIM, HE may not answer you. And if that happens, change your prayers, tell HIM to guide, guard, protect, help her to delivers, do YOUR WORK according to YOUR OWN WILL....
THE LORD GOD CALLS BOTH MEN AND WOMEN IN THE BIBLE BOTH OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS. PLEASE, allow them to do it. Give them full support. If you can't please let them do the work of GOD in peace.
Do you know why GOD punishes HIS SERVANTS that fails to do HIS WORK? IF GOD is seeing the soul HE is sending HIS SERVANT to perishing in sin... It hurts GOD and punish HIS servant that failed to get to the soul before passing on.
It was because of the conflicts, bad characters, bad doctrine, things of the world that happened in the church with the cretans, Next, Corinthians, etc that gave birth to the wonderful word of GOD as instructions to Titus, etc . Please go and check the Bible well.

Do you know maybe she is the one GOD IS sending to Malta for HIS WORK? Or maybe JESUS had sent someone either a man or a woman but refused, procrastinated,delayed GOD'S WORK, and HIS seeing souls that needs to be saved perishing in their sins everyday? And JESUS turned to her, and she said yes with
joy, got herself there doing the work of GOD. Please, let the work of GOD flourish. GOD'S WORKS is in stages. When you are done with one stage, JESUS will tell you to move to another stage. When she done there, in Malta with GOD'S WORK, GOD will tell her to move to another place for HIS WORK. REMEMBER, When they needed Apostle Paul Macedonia, he saw a vision at night Acts 16:6 to 10,he went there from there to another place.
I am a member of deeper life for about 40 years and I am married in the church. I believe is time we stop being religious and connect to the Holy spirit.
Many of us are just grammar speaking Christians with No relationship with the Holy Spirit.
When last did you communion with the Holy Spirit.
When last did you listen to His heart beat.
If the Lord is to wait for men, His coming may be continually be delayed.
Cant you see the decay in the churches, MEN have failed God.
Please if you have not sold out your entire being to God, please keep quiet and allow those who have been burdened to carry this gospel to the end of the earth.

So Female can rise in the Position of Leadership from being a Pastor to an Overseer in spme parts of the World, but in some other parts, Females cannot even be a Pastor no matter how anointed you are.
It is just a matter of time.

The men were hiding because they were the target. Do not talk down on the apostles simply because you want to make a youtube post. You should have asked, why did Jesus select 12 male apostles? If they were not up to the task as you insinuated?
Those men, acording to the Bible hazarded their lives, and in the end were murdered for the gospel. In a bid to commend the women who also did great things, do not speak ill, no matter how little, of the apostles.

@@osajiepo1809 From church history the men felt the most of the wrath of the Jews. Most people killed or stoned in the New testament were all men. Kindly tell me the woman stoned, killed or beheaded in the entire new testament.
I believe in women pastors. My pastor for a few years were women. However, that scripture about neither male nor female is a moot point, because here Paul spoke about people in general. If there is no male nor female, why does the Bible command women to submit to their husband. Why does the Bible say the man is the head of the woman? You don't pull a scripture out of context to support an argument.
Furthermore, when Paul spoke of church leadership he simply gave an order that a Bishop "must be a MAN of one wife". He also commanded women to be silent in church. He left no iffs and buts about it. All the Apostles were men. FOR A REASON. Throughout the New testament church there is hardly any woman who headed a church. Timothy was a teenage boy and became a Bishop. Were there no mature women to handle that role? You cannot take a singular scripture "neither male nor female..." and hinge your doctrine on it. That's not how scripture is interpreted. Apart from this debate, I hold a certificate in theology. And one of the first things you are taught is that you'd have to see something mentioned a couple of times in the Bible for you to make it a doctrine else you'd be preaching heresy.
Now, like I said, I believe in female pastors. In fact, there should be female pastors. But this is not hinged on a very unrelated scripture like you did up there. There are grounds that have to be satisfied for that to happen. And there are thousands of women who have satisfied those grounds and are doing great in ministry. A past example was Kathryn Khulman. Her marriage lasted only about 2 weeks. Now there are other female ministers who were married, but then those also have certain conditions to fulfil which they all did.
Before you jump to any doctrines, there are conditions that are to be met to be a pastor wether male or female. Paul clearly spelt it out for the men. For the women if you ignore the instruction to the Corinthian church, then you must deduce other qualifications from a host of other scripture.
Let me help you with one: A woman who isn't married isn't subject to any man as shown in scripture, and can actually be a pastor. There is a reason for this. For those who are married and become pastors there are many other conditions such as submission to her husband (which sometimes can conflict with her role as pastor). There are some other things, but I leave this here.

Please read a bit of church history, the persecution of the early church to verify these.

Deeper life is a bible believing church , a sister starting a church and holding on for appropriate leadership according to the bible doesnt make a female a pastor or overseer.

The church in Malta is still very young and usually when there are no competent or committed men, a dedicated and spirit filled sister can be used while the church search for a male pastor in due time. This will not be the first.
In many of our locations and even countries, the churches were started by women and were later taken over by men.
What Paul wrote was not a doctrine but because of abuse of authority by the women leaders then.
May we not be too rigid than God himself. God will use women in any capacity to fulfill his soul winning agenda in this end time if men will not take up the mandate.

Yes a sister can gather folks and preach the gospel , like the Samaritan woman but u don't certify a pastor or national overseer which defy the bible . A sister can preach and hold on till a brother if found and send there , God will understand and help the work whiles God appoint a male leader.

I want to know how if pastor kumuyi don't know about it , there are male pastors in every country , there's nothing to justify a female being a national overseer, when the bible make clear the role of a woman in the church.
