In this video we will show you how to build a dog toilet in your garden (How to build a dog potty toilet).
Making an outside dog toilet is fairly easy and I'll show you what tools and equipment you need and how to make a dog toilet outside.
How to install a dog toilet outside is a fairly easy task and it's great to be able to train your puppy or dog to use a litter box for dogs toilet (sorry can't help with that task!).
Items needed for this: Nails, string, spade, saw, roll of weed control matting, treated hardwood, 2 bags of pebbles and 2 bags of shingle\gravel.

The fabric type weed barrier will disintegrate pretty fast.I`d recommend using the woven polyprop type (screwfix) which has a 10yr warranty. Getting the pup to use the toilet isnt too bad, the trick is to get his/her urine scent on the gravel. Use a lead initially to guide them to the right spot and use a hand gesture showing where you want them to go. Use a command word , ours being wee wee and oopoopidoop (pups can poop on command with a bit of practice ) above all dont forget to give lots of praise when they go :)
The weed killer is absolutely not recommended for ecological reasons, but also for safety reasons as it isn't recommended for the puppy. I find it is also absolutely not necessary, so easy to pick weed if it starts growing.

Once a month a watering can with some disinfectant and water mixed just pour that all over it.

No it’s fine. Still get a few weeds come through but we just pull them out.
Is the fabric water permeable?
Yes it is permeable so any liquid filters through to the ground underneath.
Could you please let us know about the cleaning tips of the potty area. Especially for solid waste. Does it have to be picked up, or can it be washed down with water hose as well.
Solid waste needs picking up so you lose a few stones each time. Other than that it can just be hosed down every now and again. Our Pup gets let out in the night and goes straight over to it. Takes a bit of training but it’s much better than trying to find stuff all over the garden!

No it's fine although it's harder to mow the grass around it, ideally need a strimmer

Landscape mode would be better than portrait mode.
True but looks good on a smartphone. Was an experiment, think I'll stick to vertical videos for shorts (under 60's) and Landscape for everything else.
