  • Dancehall Deejay, Dirtsman (brother of Papa San) was one of the most talented toasters to ever hold a microphone. He was on the verge of international superstardom when his life was cut shot in circumstances that shocked Jamaica and the global reggae community

It's just too sickening how many of our artists who have been killed. So many not able to show and reach their full potential. So tragic and sad. Blessings RAS ❤️💛💚🖤

When you factor in how violent Jamaica can be coupled with the amount of artists that came from Jamaica,I can say we ain't lose much artist to crime.Look at a genre like hip hop. When last have lost an artist to such circumstance.?

Eternal rest to Dirtsman and his sister. Peace & safety to Papa San and the rest of their family. It has to have been hellish to lose TWO siblings. It was only in adulthood I learnt that they were brothers with him as San(d) cos of his big brother's name. Since Christianity has given his soul peace & we didn't lose him to violence, I give thanks ❤💛💚🖤

Great video it’s been 30 years I remember getting the news on dancehall video show on channel 25 WNYE there was always a reggae block of shows (DHV outta Brooklyn) babysitting my nieces and nephews- like that time of dancehall was super depressing all the killings worst it was reggae artistes and personalities there was no limitations- but did Steelie and Cleevie ever released late Dirtsman music for BMG???
