Hey Liz, instead of taking the binder clips to the office use them as chip clips. They’re easier to store away and won’t slide off the bags as easily. I’ve been using them for years.
And I buy mine at the dollar tree. They definitely hold up better than plastic ones as well
I use binder clips as chip clips as well. They are so much better than the plastic chip clips.
Kitchen I just get the select-a-size paper towels.
I use binder clips too, but I spray paint them & hot glue/E6000 magnet pieces from a roll on them so I can just put them on the fridge... that way they're not cluttering up the drawers/ cupboards & everyone can find them & put them away~ easy peasy!
I do the same. Also I buy hair clips and use them to clip bags.
I love love love the little fruit containers with strainers!! Grapes, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries-it’s made storing them for snacking so easy. They’re also insanely easy to clean.
Kitchen!!! I used to cut my paper towels in half to make baby wipes. Mine always came out ragged like that, too. They still worked, though. I also separate my spices into different cooking types, cumin, paprika, chili powder etc... Go into my Mexican bin... Oregano, Italian seasoning garlic powder in my Italian bin, cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa powder etc into my sweet stuff bin...
I love the idea with the jars & drinks in the fridge. Much better than a pitcher for me.💕
…but how do the children drink from the container? Is it just mine are clumsy or is there a place for a straw?
@@roansmom2004 idk but I don’t think it’s wise…
glass n children don’t mix 🤪
But I’d find a better solution using thermal bottles instead.
*and mines already come with straws 🤪
I use the bounty paper towels that are already half size vertically. I buy them at Target when they have the deal where one buys 3 packages and get a $10 gift card which I then use to buy laundry detergent for the next time the 3 item deal comes along and get a $10 gift card on those 3. Repeat over and over, and one's home will be well stocked. They also allow mix and match under the offer so one can maintain a well stocked pantry as one uses them up.
I feel with the paper towel thing it comes down to what you're needing to save most. Is it the planet, money, or time? lol If its money, the less expensive towels are already doing that. If its the planet, the towels that tear off a smaller strip or do more (higher quality) are also doing that. Of course there's also the non disposable options for saving the planet as well! :) If its time, it might take more time to be cutting down those towels to smaller bits, and a thinner (cheaper) paper towel folded in half might be the same absorbency. That dissection aside I love your tips and always look for the new ones, especially items from dollar tree! Value for dollar is what I'm all about. :) Thank you Liz!!!
I love KITCHEN hacks
Paper towels, I bet that knife for the foam noodles may work. Also for fruits & veggies just get quart size Mason jars. You can fit a 12 oz blueberries in 1 QUART. Those little containers you'll have to buy ALOT.
Kitchen is truly organized
Always organizing in my KITCHEN!!!
For my cleaning supplies on the inside of my cupboard door I have one of the real real cheap old fashioned towel bar's the thin metal ones, and it holds about 4 to 5 bottles each. Works fabulous.
I liked the bottles you put with juice in the fridge.
Those Late July chips are So Good 😋
An electric knife is the best way to cut paper towels. When my kids were small I made my own wipes with rolls cut in half
Love your KITCHEN! My favorite hack is the command hooks to hang cleaner bottles inside your cabinet. Great idea! Also, my mother (I'm 72) used to cut paper towel rolls in half and it was much cheaper than us kids using napkins. I have done it also, and never had them be difficult to cut, or as jagged as the first roll you cut. I say, stick with the better quality paper towel to do that hack! TFS and I hope you have a blessed day!
I love 💕 the fruit container , cabinet door towel hanger and putting the spice s you use the most in one container. Love 💕 your kitchen.
I mounted a small/fat curtain rod under the sink & hung all my spray bottles up under the ledge. 1st, I tried a spring loaded one, but my bottles were too heavy, so I bought some plastic closet bar mounts & put that same bar on it (why buy a new curtain rod~ LOL). It's been working great since, & I can store more bottles up there & have all the open space for garbage bags, stiffers, cleaning rags, dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc down below. I love it!
I love all these hacks and organization tips except one. The paper towel hack. it is much easier if you take one of the half sheets and tear it in half yourself. it is much easier and works great.
Thanx for always bringing us such great videos from both of your channels. As I've said before you are one of my favorites and I just love ya. 🥰
For the paper towel hack, use a freshly sharpened knife. It'll slice through the paper towel like butter.
I just learned that about the trash bags and I do it the right way now. It is much easier and stays on the garbage can better.
Kitchen ,I like the spice hack ,I need to tackle my spices next.. .
Liz, your 'kitchen' is the bomb I love it.
Hey, Liz. America’s Test Kitchen says the Bounty towels are actually the best deal around even though they’re more expensive up front because you get such a better towel for the penny.
Also, yes, you need grownup kitchen knives! ❤️
These are great organization ideas!
I always buy the full sheet towels. The ones that are perforated in thirds or quarters are so much more expensive and you don’t get as many sheets. Squish the different kinds of bounty (apples with apples) towels. I use the whole sheet and they last me a month or more. If I grab one just to dry my hands I reuse it after it dries to wipe around the sink after doing dishes…and let it dry again and use it again until it doesn’t make sense to use it again, that’s right I still have to wash dishes. PS it’s a job I detest!
I like you spice jar idea. I have to get to DT for these “kitchen” containers! I live in a rural area and don’t have a vehicle anymore.😢 Too expensive
I’ve been a home test cook for ATK for years and those knives scared me for poor Liz
@Linda Wright Reilly, my husband is a professional chef and I was a catering chef for years and years. My mother gifted us a set of those colored knives a few years ago and I was honestly baffled. 🤣 I really didn’t even know what to do with them; I couldn’t in good conscience donate them. A friend ended up taking them for his outdoor kitchen. They did not last long. 😬
I always buy Bounty & raised my 3 kids to do the same... you get what you pay 4! I also just rip them in 1/2 for smaller jobs myself... when did we get so lazy we had to have them pre-cut into small li'l sections 🤦♀️
I also use reusable towels/rags for everything that's not gross or greasy in my kitchen/house, & then I wash them when they get dirty. It only costs about $.18 for a Tide pod & just a few cents to wash the load, which can hang dry, so it just seems more frugal to me in the end.
I need to organize my kitchen. It's a hot mess. You always have great ideas.
We usually use half a paper towel at a time. I find a whole one too much, unless if there's a big spill. Always love your kitchen hacks. Please keep them coming!
I have an old house with a huge, deep cupboard where I put canned goods. I had trouble seeing the labels & got tired of lifting up each can to see what it was, so I had my husband build me shelves where each shelf was a different height, the highest in the back. Now I can see everything. :) The shelves are made out of wood.
Liz, get the select size paper towels. You can tear off a whole, half or quarter sheet. That's all I buy.
Love ALL of your videos Liz. You are one of the CZcamsrs I have watched that has also inspired me to start my own channel…not yet…still teaching preschool…but probably sooner than later. 🥰 Love your WOD too…Kitchen
Your segment in front of the open refrigerator had the mom in me saying shut the doors🤣
Thank you Liz for making videos that potentially could help anyone. My favorite thing about your videos is, most all of the items you purchase to use are affordable.
Hi, Liz! Interesting that you did the paper towel hack. My mother just recently purchased some that were the select-a-size type, although I don't know what brand they were, and they were perforated halfway through so you could get that small square size.
They are the Brawny paper towels. You can do a half perforation or a qtr square perforation.
Sparkle select a size paper towels
Bounty select a size are also great.
In Canada, we get the Bounty brand in Select-A-Size. Costco has them on sale quite often, so we stock up
Always enjoy new 'kitchen' hacks! I also use lazy susans for my spices. Might be a little crazy, but I put them on in alphabetical order. Then just give it a spin and you know exactly where to find it!
Kitchen, I love Dollar Tree organization
I'm enjoying your kitchen storage tips.
To prevent cutting board from sliding keep a 6" x 6" square of waffle shelf liner around! Place on counter under the cutting board.
I love the basket you used in the kitchen for fruit. I'm glad they have more than just gray.
Liz, I do the paper towel thing and make my own “Clorox wipes” and I’ve found my electric knife works great to cut the roll in half. Also, it has to be a top quality paper towel. I’ve tried the store brands and had the same results.
Love your organizing ideas.
The bag organizer for the drawer!!! I love it. All of the organization has inspired me to get my kitchen organized
That’s genius the trash bag. Can’t wait to try it.
Kitchen absolutely love your energy
New to your channel. What is the comment word of the day (Kitchen) ? I have used the 1/2 paper towels and put them in a big coffee canister when we finished the coffee, washed it, added the paper towels, then some cleaner (Lysol) . cut a small X in the middle of the lid. I pull the cardboard out once it got wet with the cleaner (easier to get out). Grab the paper towel from the center, pushed it through the X . For easy clean up. So it on youtube a ton of years ago.
In the 90s we used this hack to make baby wipes with paper towels like this...we used our electric bread knife or my husband's Sawzall. But I know not everyone has these.
I was so happy with that towel holder😥 I TOTALLY considered getting rid of him instead🤣
For paper towel hack? you can use Brawny paper towels tear a square..that is amazing
Great trash bag idea. I didn’t know and yes I’m going to use your method. 😄
Hi Liz. I liked the idea of putting my most used spices in a little container alone. I'm always searching so this should help. Thanks
Same!
Kitchen - great ideas! Love the garbage bag one!
Love, love love the cutting paper towels in half, we use ours to dry my c-pap water holder...also the organizing your junk drawer. Kitcken
Love your hair! Beautiful kitchen and great organization tips!
Definitely got some great ideals for my KITCHEN. Thanks so much.
Perfect KITCHEN organizing hacks! Thank you so much!
My KITCHEN has very little counter space. My husband and I have this wonderful woman, Jackie, who comes and cleans for us 3 days a week. Jackie and I are going to work on organizing my kitchen cabinets a little better so I can move things off the counter.
Amazon has lots of little multi-shelf organizers for counters.
Lol kitchen 👋👏👏👏 I also use the bins that you used for spices. I use them for tea. They are the perfect size and my tea bags are all neatly filed in that skinny bin. 😊Not crazy on the paper towel hack 🤪
Kitchen! I like the refrigerator organization hack.
Thanks for the ideas. I have only just moved into a new place a couple of days ago and I'm setting my place up from scratch. I love your practical idea's on a budget and just your general demeanor and happy disposition is a total delight to watch. My kids are recently out of the home and I'm setting up solo, but also keeping in mind their visits when on College break, keeping things practical. I have never seen those stick on bottle holders to hang on the cabinet doors before, going to check if they sell those in Australia. Also the simple hang over the door metal bar is definitely one I plan to pick up. Thank you!
Thanks, Liz. Love your "kitchen". The colors are my favorite!
Kitchen. Love the new colors from dollar tree
THIS is an Awesome video packed with tons of great ideas! I did order the rechargeable lighter - and I got one for my hubby (he’s lives it)! Now to work on today’s ideas - thank you Liz!!
Word of the day is kitchen
I definitely loved this KITCHEN video! It's the first room on my list to get organized this year lol!
Kitchen... I like the containers with handle. I can store so many things in them in all over my house
I really like those bins with the handles and those smaller ones you put fruit in,
My favorite was the paper towels.
Love this kitchen, organizational video Girl!
I love the dollar tree storage bins. I use them in my kitchen cabinets, my go to color. It Teal. I use them for my spices and storing my baking goods, my daily spices I store them in my Lazy Susan.
On the paper towels I also buy the Kirkland’s but I keep a roll on, but I only use it when I have to.
Have the same hook on under the sink cabinet with tea towels that I change every day help me not reach for paper towels often. I bought them at Walmart a 10 pack.
Never been available to find those soda or can bins at DT. One of these I’ll get lucky.
Keep videos like this coming Girl. 🤩🤩🤩
KITCHEN!!!! Always love DT storage containers!!!! I have found that the white slit basket, 3 pack is cheaper at Walmart!
Hi Liz. Thank you for sharing these awesome ideas with us. I'm slowly starting to declutter and reorganize, so these ideas are definitely going to help me. For the paper towels, I buy the pick a size, but sometimes I don't need the full sheet, even though it might be the half sheet. So I just fold it in half and rip it, it works really well! Plus less mess, and quicker, lol! I can't wait for your next video ❤
Kitchen. Thank you for all the ideas. I haven't tried the trash bag hack, but if I think about it I will give it a try.
I loved the zip lock baggy orangziner
Love your outfit today. That sweater is really nice. I love your videos. The organization ones are my favorite.
Kitchen! Always make it this far

Awesome ideas.Different brands now do the select a size for the paper towels but a least you tried.Oh Kitchen!!!!!
Kitchen! I like your tip about the spices, good idea! I have those baskets and containers in teal, Dollar Tree had them a few years ago and I still use them.
I do that EXACT same thing with my 4 most used spices, and I love it! Makes life so easy….pull out that spice bin, cook, then replace all in one. I use that same container also. 😋
I love ❤using the DTree bins and risers for organizing my pantry, fridge, freezer and bathroom. Kitchen

Kitchen : I love all the ideas but my favorite would have to be the fruit baskets that $ tree is now selling they look fantastic. Thanks for this video
I love your KITCHEN!! Great ideas!!
I loved your organizer ideas. On the spice tip I would put dot stickers on top of the most used ones with the initial of each spice. I also bought a wooden drawer organizer to hold my oils and spices next to my air fryer for quick air fryer meals. Also the zone idea was great. Editing your stuff can get overwhelming.
I like the kitchen cabinet towel bar.
Kitchen!! I have those baskets in my fridge such a great idea
Liz the paper towel hack was good!! Hubby did it ! Fir the trash bags my 11 yo daughter taught my husband about that she saw it fr YT omg😮
Btw we use the Costco Kirkland paper towels, works well cheaper too
