Yeah the trophy for 2nd came about because there was complaints that the league winner got a trophy and so did the play off winners but the 2nd place teams didn't so it did not seem fair the 2 of the 3 promotion teams got trophies leaving one out.

Wasn’t Cole part of the Rooney disaster…didn’t see any signs of good coaching from Cole…made them worse if anything …like watching a pub team at times
Well I think you need to see how highly he's rated and I doubt he had much say in how the team was set up and anyway since Rooney left and don't keep using it as your get out card there were plenty of games left to turn it round. clearly they couldn't or more likely didn't want to rowett failed as well
