- Go behind the scenes as Lewis Hall arrives on Tyneside to join Newcastle United on a season long loan from Chelsea.
The defender met with Eddie Howe and Dan Ashworth as well as bumping into a couple of his new team mates while on a tour of our Benton Training Ground.

Buzzing for him and his family. His dad already looks so chuffed to bits. Trippier always being one of the first players to make time for our new signings is class to see. Such a great captain.
Technically he is the vice captain so it makes you think where is Jamaal Lascelles in all this? He never is the first one to greet a new signing. A rubbish player who Eddie Howe only keeps for his leadership skills and his dressing room charisma. What’s the point keeping him is he doesn’t do these off the field duties? Bin that player man and get a new centre back

@@raf7305 You said it yourself mate, Eddie keeps Lascelles for his leadership skills behind the scenes. Why would he get rid of him if he has a good impact on our other players? And I have to disagree with Lascelles being a rubbish player. He's been a great servant to Newcastle over the years and has stuck with us no matter what.
@beatrixdobson4795 agree 100%. He stuck with us through those rough times. Would be happy to have him retire with us once he feels he can no longer play to the top ability but will then work with the young coming through the ranks. Same with Matt Ritchie.
@@beatrixdobson4795 Lacelles is Eddie's muscle, he's a vital part of the team, hard man, doesn't play, doesn't mind, just an enforcer and a role model.

Hasn't been at the club long but it's becoming very clear why Dan Ashworth is such a highly regarded figure in football. He's cooking something fierce! 🔥🔥🔥

Dan ashworth is the fucking man
Ashworth just knows how to put players at ease and make them feel at home. Such an underrated quality.
I love the personable approach from Dan Ashworth, by acknowledging his dad played Rugby up here. That goes a long way. Eddie Howe is similar in which he will learn about players families
As a Chelsea fan, really disappointed to see him go, really classy and talented. Guaranteed he will come back to haunt Chelsea like Salah, De Bruyne etc... At the club he supported growing up, so can only wish him the very best success. 👌

Mad isn't it? With the profile of the game and everything that surrounds it I find myself forgetting sometimes that these are just normal lads - i know what I was like when I was 18 and I am not sure I'd have managed a situation like that as well as Lewis does here. Must be hard to take it all in..... you'd be mad not to be nervous..... Take your time Lewis lad - looks like we're really developing a set up that will enable players to progress and push their potential while being successful for the club. Edit - I know this is hardly an original thought, but sometimes I have to pinch myself to see how much things have changed at Newcastle in such a relatively small time..... it really does make what Ashley did look not just negligent but insane. There wasn't even the pretence of progressing the club. Anyway - sorry Lewis - rant over!

Looks so young, but plays like a seasoned pro, he's gunna give us that much needed assists from LB, no disrespect to Burn but goals win's us games and this lad will create plenty for us, Burn is great for his defensive awareness 2 totally different asset's attack is our new form of defence which we showed many times last season and its only gunna get better.

I absolutely love everything about the culture of this club at the minute..
The way we’ve built a cohesive backroom staff that are all pulling in the same direction but all very clear on their job roles.
The way we’ve got a dressing room of lads that you know would run through a brick wall for Eddie and each other.
That we have such a deep group of leaders and voices, especially the lads who might not get game time but are vital to the squad.
The blend of youth and experience and the way the older lads are prepared to grow the young lads and give them tough love.
We are fucking massive.

Brilliant news for all Nufc fans a young and very talented player into the squad, lots of Chelsea fans really disappointed Lewis has left which tells you what a brilliant signing this is.
The family look and sound really nice people and I don’t think Lewis will take long to settle in as we have a really good set of players who are all together in making every new player welcome.
