All of the missions were insane
The DeMarcos are nothing more than a glorified crew. That's why Max was able to rip through them with no problem. Plus he was wearing the jacket. Toughest guy in Essex County.

Well !! I played this game back in Dec, 2015- Feb, 2016.. It seemed like I was hearing the cry of baby in the background throughout this mission , not just at 15:39 .
@@debashisjena2004 that's cuz it's a part of the soundtrack that's being played. HEALTH added that detail in the soundtrack "Dead" and it's supposed to be the crying of Max's daughter

I’ll go ahead and say this, even though he blames himself for Winterson’s death. It really wasn’t his whole entire fault, given the fact that her boyfriend was Vlad, but she was working for him, helping him tie loose ends so basically she was just as much as a dirty cop

He did, but he loved Michelle more in the end, never truly got over her. 9 years of grief, boozing, and abusing painkillers has turned him bitter.
He likely views his love for Mona as betraying Michelle now, so he's trying to write her off as nothing but a grief-stricken coping mechanism.
Max hated that he loved her because it felt as cheating on his dead wife. To max he died the same day as his family so he doesn’t deserve the right to enjoy things such as love

Why max regrets shooting winterson? She was no saint, she was a corrupt cop.
Because her and Vlad had a similar relationship to Max and Mona.
Max and Valerie were Cops,
Vlad and Mona were criminals.
He saw how much Vlad loved Winterson.
Taking care of her son and all.
As for corruption. Max was corrupt for getting in cahoots with Mona as well.
He had no justification for his actions because he wasn't an honest cop himself. It'd be hypocritical of him to justify shooting her when they were both the same.
But by shooting Winterson for a criminal, He totally abandoned his Policeman principles. His actions were done because of his love for Mona not for the police force. Which made him a murderer. Max may regret loving Mona which was forbidden as she was a criminal.

They dumbed him down in this game. He enters a room casually pointing a gun to, full of gun wielding terrorists without taking any precautions or coming up with a strategy to allow him safely disarm the situation and then take control of it . Max is an OP cop in NY where he has killed hordes of enemies ranging from Russian Mafia, NYPD to Street thugs to militias and here he makes this foolish mistake and gets the girl, he was supposed to protect, killed. Why did rockstar dumbed him down so much?? It does not make sense for a max payne game. The gameplay was nice tho

I think that’s the point of the story max has spent at least ten years just drunk and out of combat so he is rusty also as a severe drunk for him to be clean at the time messes his brain up because he only knows how to think drunk
