That's actually a freightliner flb. Fla stop the year prior and that's the model that replaced it. But away thank you so much for saving that beautiful truck!!
Beautiful. I recently had to put my cdl on hold. I remember Burlington ran these and I wanted a job there so I could drive one. I eventually did drive a flat floor for jb hunt for a while. Man, life was better then. When my only worry was the ability to stand up in my truck. Dammit, I miss it.
My new freind Armando has a Freightliner FLB C.O.E. similar to this one!!! He hauls shipping containers with his truck!!! Every once in a while I get to connect the air coils and electrial cord line on his truck to the trailer!!!
If you can't find the part online for the shifter, look up junkyards that may have a few cabover trucks that might still have what you need. Do a road trip with a cargo trailer and get what you need. Junkyards are a jem at times
Man that is a nice cabover you have. I used to drive a cab over exactly like that but it was a new year. The inside of the truck remind me of mine. My truck had a Detroit engine in it to with a 10-speed and it had top end gears in it cuz it would run 75 miles an hour all day long with no problems. I wish I could have bought that truck 🚛 from the owner cuz it was a good running truck 🚛. I ended up buying me a Freightliner Classic and it's a beast. I'm glad about this and I love driving it. Looking forward to watching you fixing the truck up. I just found your channel and this was an awesome video you did. Thank you for sharing.
Nice cabover. If you can't find linkage that goes to the shifter you may have to find someone to fabricate that linkage. I use to have a 94 GMC White cabover with the 11.1 Detroit with a 9 speed transmission back in 2008. Parts were getting hard to find back then, but was very good truck. I hate I got rid of that truck.
To the left on the cab jack pump is a button you pushed and it electrically/or by air, raised the cab. The handle was only if the automatic pump failed. You pressed it and it went bup bup bup bup and raised the cab easily-no manual work.
My 1st yruck as and owner operator was a 1996 ex m.s Carriers frightshaker like that 1,small Detroit 11.1 andl we when everwhere in her good old truck, not 2 many problems with her either.
@@incrediblemember1208 you haven’t made many videos on it the inside is good and the motor and transmission and the rear ends I will like to watch a video on this and i am in Raleigh Nc and where will I have to go get the truck
I have a 94 that is almost identical. Where did you get the door hardware? Mine is missing the door locks on the inside. I can lock it from the outside with the key but not from the inside. I know you sold it a while ago, any info would help. Thanks
@@incrediblemember1208 I can't but call someone in your area that works on transmissions or you might be able to research the number yourself online and see. There is lots of information online!! Happy hunting!!
Depending where a truck runs many companies use steer tires in all positions. As long as tires all match up size. Running steer tires on drives will gain fuel economy because they have lower rolling resistance. They do suck in mud and snow tho.

Those were GREAT trucks! Very reliable. I drove a brand new one in 1993 when I worked for Burlington Motor carriers.
That's a neat old truck! I've never seen inside one of those high roof cabovers, it looks like there's actually a very comfortable amount of room.
Great buy....I wish I had one

Nice Truck, someone may have said it but you can go to Machine shop and have them make new Drive shaft
Super cool man keep up on your videos we love them
Thank you 👍 Respect
That's not the drive shaft it's the shifter linkage bar which connects from the top of transmission up to shift tower and connects the shifter
Change all ur fluids..rears..Trans..change all electrical parts..
I ran for a company in the early 2000's that had these trucks. I also wanted a condo cabover but got stuck in a flattop. Beautiful truck.

Nice find that cab jack works by jacking it or air
I had the same truck got it brand new same color ahh it was slow in the hills though .

You can go into the truck’s computer and reset the speed limiters
336 is good you need to see what your RPMs are set out for highway speed
Nice buy
It looks like its in great shape! What did you pay for it? I'm looking for one and have seen the prices all over the place.
$7,100
@@incrediblemember1208 absolutely stole it! It looks real nice too!
I drove a 94 for ten years
900K miles? That's just barely broken in for a semi!
These days, the engines already blown
Those generation Freightliner cabovers were replaced by the Argosy models & not sure what year exactly that was.
They stopped making these in '99 and the Argosy was introduced around '97. He said it's a '95

Can't use steer tires on drive axles. Ur gonna have to replace rear tires.
