it happened to my model Y driver seat and shoving the seat while pushing the button forward worked! What a solution. I will cancel my mobile service appointment.
@@dooflexible That's what he did, then gave it a shove sitting in the seat, pressing the control switch in the same direction. If the motor senses resistance, it doesn't work... just clicks.
@@TeslaModel3Adventures my seat apparently touches the floor, the bridge where the motor is mounted in particular. so i had to lift it up by hand and wiggle with it a little but it fixed it.
Weren't you grudgingly planning on a weekend visit to Leeds for something else?! Got clout for loan car for your trip away, just early enough in the week to organise. Yours needs recovering from home really. And loan car dropping off. Fear you'll be looking at insurance courtesy car for weekend at this rate, and won't be an EV. Hope Sharon feeling better.
London this weekend... leaving Friday evening. But the good news is Tesla are sending out a mobile engineer Friday morning. I'll just have to tie blocks of wood onto the pedals for now 🤣 Sharon's fine... battling on 🙂🙂

Unplug then plug back works instantly!!
That was a year ago, and we had Tesla out multiple times to fix it.
In the end they replaced the entire seat... been fine since they swapped it.
Please make a video on how unlplug it
How to unplug
This just started with our 2022 if someone can post a video on how to unplug it.
@@TeamTerry right, I don't see any simply connection
What was the fix? I just experienced this today with my Y
Believe it or not, Tesla service guy just gave it a hard shove and sprayed with WD40 🤣
@@TeslaModel3Adventures it just happened to my model 3 yesterday, should i try spraying wd40 on the tracks?
