  • Here is a special travel tip for Istanbul: Taking a journey on the historical T2 tram line! The antique, one hundred year old carriages are really something to behold. While aboard you will be able to experience a small but beautiful part of the Turkish city.
    The 1.8 kilometer long route goes along the İstiklal Caddesi, the independence street. This offers many sights, such as the Pera Palace Hotel. It was in this luxury hotel that famous celebrity passengers from the Orient Express would spend the night, including Jackie Kennedy, Alfred Hitchcock, and Greta Garbo.
    Another must-see is the famous flower passage at the Galatasaray Square, where you can taste some Turkish cuisine. The journey ends at the centrally located Taksim Square, which is known for its vibrant night life.

      Yes very true! But Istanbul also has an Asian side too 🥺 not only saying it geographically but also culturally too. And Turkish culture is actually really diverse too in its culture if you didn’t know. Turkey is not only European but it is also Asian (Anatolian, Central Asian, Caucasian, and Middle Eastern)

      Every country has positives and negatives. All my friends in Turkey are not happy with the current state of the economy, but that doesn't mean they don't like Turkey itself. They criticize because they want their beautiful country to reach its maximum potential.

    where is the burqa in women? haram

    • @DWTravel
      @DWTravel  Před 2 lety +7

      @Atifete Mitsos The burqa is not actually worn in Istanbul. You probably meant the hijab, which you can spot here and there.
