In my opinion Apple has 3 extreme value prodcuts in 2023. 1. The newest base model iPad is just $250 at some retailers(discounted). 2. Macbook Air M1 for around $700-750 at most retailers, still works great for 2023 applicatons. 3. Mac Mini M1 or M2 base models cost very little yet function like a full desktop.

I personally consider value items from a company the size of apple to be if it’s new. The M1 is a nearly 3 year old product. It debuted at just under 1000 anyways. I don’t really consider the product as value being that old. Is it a good product? Yes. But it’s still not “value”. I think it’s appropriately priced. If the new m3 MacBook Air was being sold for 700-750 that would be value imo.

In my opinion this is the best option for using while cycling (no music , just audiobooks, podcasts and phone calls ). They do not block the outside noise so you are aware of your surroundings, very light and durable.

I can see that working if you route the wire down yo shirt , don't have to worry about your airpod falling off somewhere in the wilderness.

In my gym some people are using wired buds and tbh I kind of like the asthetic of the wires. Its almost like an accessory.
The cordless buds fall down very easily and roll into some corner. It is very difficult to get them back.

@@ricachuuuu yes! I had Gen 3 and I didn’t really like them. EarPods are super airy and feel weightless. Whereas Gen 3 are more bulky and personally caused pain after 1h as they are quite thick and create tension inside ears. Hope this helps 😇

Absolutely love the 3.5mm version; still use them for work every day! Decent audio quality, good enough mic, never have to worry about battery, and super comfortable since they're so light. Definitely picking up this version once my current pair dies.

Honestly, super random video, but... these are indeed the go-to wired earbuds for me and have been for 10 years. Simple, clean, sound good, cheap, available everywhere, compatible with practically any device, you know what to expect every time... checks all the boxes.

I ordered this a couple days back and received it today and listening to this right now on the Earpods. They sound amazing and are great for office meetings, plus feel so comfortable as compared to the bulky headphones.

I 100% agree that something like this is a great value at $19.00. The fact that we have USB-C finally is a good thing. It sucks Apple didn't include these with _at least_ the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max is a little disappointing.
I've considered the AirPod Max but $549.00 is a lot; especially since I could buy a PS5 for that amount or I could use it towards a new Windows desktop; both of which I need since I'm still on a PS4 and my PC is a Core i5 6400 with a GTX 720 Ti.
So naturally I've been considering the AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) since I hear they're pretty good and $249.00 is more affordable.

I think that those EarPods are a great value. But I’d also have to mention the iPad 9th generation. It has almost all of the iPad features but on an older chip and a much cheaper price than the 10th generation iPad. I do admit that the screen real estate is lack luster compared to the other iPads but I would put the 9th generation iPad in the conversation of top value for an Apple product.
I actually recently use them at the airport and it totally surprised me. I use them on any other situations, use them actually daily and for travel I use my Sony noise cancelling. Totally recomend this little gadget.

Honestly, I still use my 3mm jack buds to this day! The audio quality is great and you can get them dirt cheap if you know where to look.
I bought a couple pairs of these for snowboarding. Works great on the hill since you can press and hold the mic to activate siri to call people with gloves on. and they won't fall out into the snow !
I have hated the microphone on all airpods since the dawn of their existence so im so glad they released an updated version of the classic earbuds! Not everything needs to be high tech. Im glad they are finally bridging the gap

Moondrop Jiu DSP or digital signal processing are type C IEMs for 20 USD. These are not ear buds. They have silicone tips & seal properly which is great for people who regular air pods. Also moondrop space travel is a TWS for $25 USD. If you don't mind using an Apple dongle: moondrop chu 2, Tangzu Wan'Er, 7hz salnotes zero, truthear hola, these are the go to for 20 dollars. Also the Apple dongle is the best value product. It's a great dongle for dac like 10 bucks or less & even measures well. I'm an audiophile headphone nerd, I'm not a snob, but there are a lot of good options at $20 & ear pods dsp might not be competitive.
Hello my friend. From what I saw, you know a lot about headphones. Can you help me with this doubt? I want to purchase a headset worth up to 30 dollars that has good sound quality.
The initial focus really is on the audio quality, but a noise-canceling and wireless headset for use at the gym would be really good. I'm in doubt between the Apple earpods usb-c (because of the quality) and the Moondrop Space travel because it's more versatile.
Can you tell me if the sound quality of the Moondrop is similar to the USB-C earpod? I'm not an audiophile, so I don't have such a finely tuned "ear" yet, but I'd like to start in that world. Could you clear this doubt for me? I also thought about the possibility of Moondrop CHU 2. What do you recommend??

Great video, i just bought this for my work headset backup. Works like a charm on Windows and USB C phones.
These are pretty cool. Kind of brings back some nostalgia from using the earpods that used to come with iPhones before true wireless tech came out. My airpods pro 2nd gen are the best earbuds I've ever had, the Dolby Atmos on Apple Music is just next level and I love the active noise cancelling but they were very expensive.
I got the earpods after your review. You're right. The sound is excellent. And yes, there's some magic going on when used with a macbook sound is louder and fuller vs the iPhone 15.

I just ordered a pair for my android phone immediately. Id be doing this with their older wired ones since 2001. I stopped when the headphone jacks disappeared and the dongle started for any phone. So happy to have them back for an insane low price. Its one of the only apple products I still use. So crazy they are $20. Its like they priced them knowing these are for their audience that rarely gives them money.

I have been using these for years and the mic quality is just amazing. Pair it with apple’s voice isolation feature and you can literally attend a meeting with music playing in the background or someone shouting or whatever the situation might be, it will only pass your voice crisp and clear.
You need to turn off sound check in music in settings
If you're ready throw $20 on a substandard and non-durable product that definitely breaks how much ever careful you use it.
This and then the AirPods Pro with USB-C on sale at Best Buy were my immediate accessories I got along with my case, screen protector, and Belkin magsafe charger with my 15 Pro Max. Apple gave me $479 for my old 12 Pro Max trade in which was a nice amount. This was a great year to upgrade and I'm glad I waited and skipped last year.
I personally love my EarPods. I don't think I've ever thought for once that the audio quality was lacking either, they sound great. I do however still wear the AirPods Pro when I'm at the gym, since I'm paranoid I'm going to end up hitting the wire and my iPhone is going to end up falling to the floor.

I was about to buy a new airpods pro 2 and afraid the battery will be the same as my gen 1. My left bud’s battery drains faster than my right like by alot 40% difference. Noice cancel and transparancy issues aswell. So im done with those buds. I totally forgot apple selling these type c earbuds and waaaaayyyyy cheaper. Wearing these is gonna be like the 90s vibes. So excited to use these on my ip15pm and ipad pro.

The convience of wireless headphones is ruined by the chore of having to charge them all the time. But I do use wireless when exersizing.
I bought the airpods pro2 yesterday. returned them immediateely after all the noise cancellation wave lengths causing me head ahces. I like the regular airpods more... but i think we forgot, the end goal of airpods is to be like earpods. The earpods have more volume, zero latency, and lossless audio for twenty damn dollars so i can lose five of them over a year and not feel bad. No i can't workout with them. But if im just sitting infront of my computer?.... there is a big value justification here. It's like if apple brought back the glowing apple logo and they saw you with it in a room fulll of chrome apple logos. It's nostalgic and high quality. It si so damn good and an example of how we tried to phasee out something

I think if your at home those are better for conference calls or any at home use. Going outside in the world is for the AirPods to use for driving and working out so the wires don’t get in the way.

I think the best value product right now is their $20 braided cables. It’s hard to find a good usb c to lightning cable at that price and the nylon braiding is the nicest I’ve ever felt. They also have the usb c to c (up to 240 w charging) that’s 10 feet for $40. Personally i prefer to use the Apple charging bricks and cables, I’ve seen too many melted usb ports in my time as a techie that mixing brands is always a risk. Not all USB C are created equal. And the third party brands you can trust are usually really expensive. Not just that but choosing only Apple products makes life simple… I need a cable I buy a cable I don’t have to spend time researching and comparing all the prices online but that’s a bigger debate. Apple really aligns with the Minimalist Philosopy which is why I just stick to the accessories and products in general. It’s the apple ecosystem at work.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago and they are pretty good, I use them at work everyday.
I think it will be a welcome addition to one headphone/EarPod arsenal. Especially for those who work from home. How many times have I called a customer service and they are working from home and all you hear is the background noise that the wireless ones pick up.

That's my biggest gripe, I have the galaxy buds and if I'm on a long call, at least one will die so I have to charge that so I have something if they other dies, it's a pain in a behind for sure. They'd be great for a backup pair for that purpose alone, great vid!

I still have the old 3.5mm jack earphones that I got with my iPhone 5s in 2014. I also have the Lightning version that I got with my iPhone 7plus in 2017. I use wired cell phone earphones on the laptop for both regular office calls and office team video calls. These earphones are easy to connect and require no charging, and I personally find the sound to be good. I'm not at all interested in ANC and isolating myself from the environment, and I also think that's dangerous. If someone knocks on the door or calls me with an emergency, I won't notice it at all. I have a converter for my iPad that allows me to connect various wired headphones that I have. I had an Airpod Pro 2 but stopped using it. Now I only use an over-ear Bluetooth headset, Sony Xm4.
Could you test if this earpod functions as a peripheral on a USB-C KVM switch between two Macs, or alternatively, between a Mac and an iPhone/Android device?

The best value Apple product for years has been the usb-c to 3.5mm dac dongle, and it remains at the #1 spot.
Legit, still preferred this over Airpods. Using this with the 3.5mm version paired with a DAC dongle, using Poweramp EQ to enhance even better, able to get deep bass, good mids, and clear highs. And it's great value for its price.

For me it is a necessity since other options just dont stay in my ears and it also provides a better listening experience.
Plus it's a very small cost increase to have them so i don't see why they don't make a silicone version.

Switched from the AirPods Pro 2 to these for my dailies, way more comfier and more practical. Sound quality is delicious.
as someone who still downloads music I assumed when apple says lossless they meant the equivalent of flac. 256 should be a minimum, then again if your listening with apples headphones it probably all sounds the same anyways
Any headphones with a wire could support lossless audio. the question is what kind of device, which audio format do you play and what indipendance and what kind of dp sensitivity your headphones have. Some android smartphones or tablets also support LDAC bluetooth which is better than normal bluetooth codecs. If you have an iphone which supports FLAC audio files and you plug in your headphones from your 1. iphone in 2010 they also support the audio. If they sound as good as the new ones. Maybe not. If you search for headphones with a low indipendance (Ohm) like 40-60 or lower and high sensitivity 100db or higher you should get a good result here. But if you have a amplifier these lossless supporting earpods are china built trash compared to studio headphones which are capable of a higher frequenze band (18-24000)hz and have like 240ohm and dont need a high sensitivity because your amplifire might work with 50db.
It sucks they don’t include these in the box with iPhones anymore.

USB-C doesn't mean universal compatibility. What if it needed analog audio to be passed through to it? Imagine if it didn't have internal dac? Then not a lot of phones or computers would work with it at all. USB-C doesn't guarantee anything in itself, at least nothing more than you can plug it in there and it fits. Functionality is not guaranteed.
