New York City is tough to live in, sometimes it's really hard to unwind. Especially for those of us in our thirties... energy is hard to come by lol. Thankful for your content! I’m 29 and moving to nyc in May. Feel like my whole adult life has been put on hold till I move out of my moms but so ready for nyc living. You’re really the only actually realistic channel I’ve found of someone living in nyc so thank you! 9:40 For some reason that really resonated with me right now. I'm constantly trying to prove to myself, my bosses, etc that I'm a super hard worker, ultra productive, super professional, and all those things that I really want to be. But the truth is I turn 20 in a couple days and I really just need to give myself a break and let myself be young and not always perfect at the things that I do. I needed that reminder that I'm a worthy lovable human being even if I feel like I'm not always impressing people. Thanks Chelsea, I'm really appreciating your videos at this point in my life!
I don’t know how your video popped up on my YT feed one day. But I absolutely adore your vlogging and storytelling style. And your authenticity and candor is very refreshing :) As an introvert myself who has also moved into a big city on my own, I totally caught the vibe of a fellow homebody type gal 🧡And can totally relate to being in love with the bustling big city and all that it has to offer; but also at times preferring to just stay at home doing random stuff with some fire beat in the background, or cozy up with a good book. To me, living in new york is equated to an extroverts paradise. This city is not meant for people who enjoy quiet and peace. It's for those who enjoy the constant speed and pushing of the city. A city that constantly changes every day. Where a whole neighborhood can change overnight, and you have to be okay with that.
I am in my early 30's living in the city for the my whole life. And it is exhausting. I am a introvert, and it just sucks that you cannot find that peace in this city for the most part. I found my few quiet places like LIC, the boat ferry, and red hook. But for the most part, it's exhausting to constantly be on the move and looking for a way to get through the day. Least to me at least.

But it’s true we ALL get old. But I find it’s okay even though we think it’s sucks. I feel like life will get more simple and pure once we get old. So don’t worry!! Live the way you feel like. It’s your life not anyone else’s… you pick who or what happens your the author if you will. You make NYC seem so pretty cool I’m curious of it always have been. I find life in Cali is plain boring… I want to go so bad even though I don’t really know anyone there lol. I’d be a complete stranger there but I guess that’s okay :) but damn I want to EXPLORE it and the food!!!! I get lonely too don’t really like many people rather be by myself.. but I bet in NYC it just be nice because just knowing other people are around 24/7 "the city that never sleeps" they say 🤩 idk just nice imo
