Florida here it’s been so dry. We had a storm that seemed to come out of no where like 2 weeks ago. Any news 9
Said we wouldn’t get hit so none of us worried. The next thing we knew the wind was blowing and the rain was pouring and I mean POURING. It was so bad water was coming under my front door. I’ve been through hurricanes that didn’t even do that!! At one point our electricity went out and heard a big crack sound. About 20 min later it was over. But we had a huge tree that almost took out the garage. It’s still laying in the yard next door and in my yard!! When I was watching bay news 9 while it was going on the guy actually said “I’m sorry but this happens this time of year where the Doppler radar can get it wrong. I have never heard that before. Yes they get it wrong ALOT but never have heard them admit it. That scares me very very very much!! What do you do when you can’t even trust your local meteorologists. 😭 I will
Say because of how dry it’s been I am so scared. We can’t take any real amount of rain. Our lawns can’t take it. 😬😱😳😥
Wow Mr. Schlotthauer. The heat content has risen so much compared to the last 2 weeks. It’s amazingly scary this is not boding well. Rapid intensification is very favored with this sign
july is almost always quiet so it not shock me if a wave of sinking air strikes in july.. i dont remember the last time july had much activity, we basically have a storm or 2 in june, quiet in july, then things get bad in august for our primary hurricane season. in the atlantic we get 90% of our acticity within a 3 month period. other basins gets all there activity over a 6 month period i noticed.
That’s true, but because this year‘s hurricane season looks to be hyperactive I can expect early August to really ramp up

The weather is going to get hotter in Miami the signs are out there for possibly a hurricane to hit us this year

Activity will absolutely go ballistic in late July to September and probably continue in October
I'm betting on mid June and this going to December unless the water swirls n cold water comes up n the ocean runs outta energy but if it's super hot again it won't make a difference it'll just reheat I'm betting on this being nuts maybe a Halloween hurricane

This may sound a stupid question, but what is a tropical wave? I know I dum question, but I just wanna know the meaning of that.
The only stupid question is the one not asked. Basically it's the very beginning of what could be a tropical cyclone

I don't remember the year that the tropical storm occurred in April but it was fully tropical and killed two people because of a capsized boat
Tropical storms can occur in May and one time in April which caught me off guard
What this means for Trinidad?
