Here’s hoping 2K24 doesn’t become a failure. Because seeing the reactions from the fans, if 2K legitimately continues to ignore our feedback to improve this series, then there’s no point of coming back or getting their new games, if it’s legitimately the same game with nothing new or different. MyFaction truly needs to stop, fan favorite match types need to return, and improving the existing modes fans care about such as Universe Mode and fixing MyGM can definitely help this series come back and maybe be perceived better. I may prefer the classics, but I don’t want these games to fail at the same time. So here’s hoping 2K listens for once, and can use this feedback to improve for the better.
Dude 2k is expecting a decent chunk of you to call it a failure, which will drown out by the fact that they'll still get your money.

WWE2K24 it’s going to be successful next year but my opinion I want universe mode to be fixed so bad myGM we have everything there but yes, we need more matches. We need lots of stuff in there like custom championships in there and custom arenas. And most of all, let’s just not say that WWE2K24 it’s not going to be successful. We don’t know that because he did not came out right now it’s going to come out next year so we don’t know so I want the game to be successful next year so wrestlemania is 100% right it could go wrong🤔👨💻 we just don’t want a reboot of you know what WWE2k20👀😱😰 the game was ugly as hell🤣 so we just don’t know right now we were just wait and see
All sports games suffer from similar issues. NBA2K, FIFA, MADDEN, etc are all yearly roster and cosmetic upgrades with like one or two new features. Same with wrestling games. It’s smarter to buy those games every other year and there won’t be big improvements unless there’s 2k20 levels of outrage.

The amount of legitimate constructive criticism will not matter if the sales will still be profitable. Companies listen to money.

2k15 also had an amazing and underrated showcase. With dlc u could have 5 showcases like hall of pain, cm punk and Cena, michaels and HHH, Christian and orton, and path of the ultimate warrior

At the very least with what you're asking with showcase is a shared one focusing on different rivalries like with 2k15. 2k15 did the rivalry john cena/cm punk and randy orton/christian. I think it included mark henry's hall of pain as well

I watched some 2k15 and played some at a friends I wasn’t a fan of the grappling mechanics so weird and very annoying the career mode was broken to took forever to advance from NXT.
I loved 2k16 so I was very happy in the end sadly completely missed out on playing 2k15 because of it though oh well.
Id absolutely love a what if mode in favour of showcase. Gives 2k more freedom as well as they could essentially go back to certain events and do whatevet they want following it
They don't want freedom. They just want to print as many mediocre games as possible and sell them every year as "brand new". That's how lazy corporations make money because they have stupid loyal fans.
1. It boggles me how 2k doesn't see how MyFaction is ruining the 2k games. Add the fact that the servers get shut down a year later, and it quickly becomes a theft scheme.
2. Universe Mode is one of the biggest reason why the WWE 2k games have replayability, but that's the thing. Why would 2k fix/update something that keeps players coming back for more, when they could just buy the next game?
3. They need to bring back trash cans, the ring bell, fire extinguisher, and championship belts. Also, weapons should have different animations and not just reskins of others (kendo stick and baseball bat). I also wish we have weapon grapples again (even weapon finishers like AEW FF).
MyFaction is deadass the real reason why Universe Mode and GM Mode is shit.
If you use Doink the Clown in an “Extreme Rules” match, you can pull out a mannequin arm from under the ring over by the announcer table. That’s by far one of my favorite weapons to use now 😂.
I would be happy if they make it where we fully customize championship entrances and diffrent double title entrances and maybe make it like aew where we can have up to 4 championships but im dreaming

@@thatisemtile1314Controls ain't complicated. You can learn them in 3 matches, and if you learn slow, 7. What these games really need is new core mechanics and fresh animations. They still have some stuff from SvR games. That's how pathetic it is.
They should add a pov or tv style camera angles when you simulate matches that would add a nice element for dream matches I think

a few points: the idea of Showcase Mode is interesting but I've always said that the right superstar should be picked for this mode because it has to warrant us playing through the mode. Idk about you guys, but I don't want to play through Showcase to unlock superstars or arenas from 6 years ago or 8 years ago when those items should already be in the game to some degree. Now, playing through Showcase for someone like HHH, The Rock, Undertaker, or HBK warrants playing through it because of the potential of unlockables. I understand people like to see Bray Wyatt honored for Showcase but while I'm a fan, I don't think his career warrants a showcase mode. Instead, his own mode using The Fiend in a "Defeat The Fiend" like mode or even possibly presenting something new entirely like bringing a fantasy element to the game would be better.
Match Types: By now, matches like Special Guest Referee, Inferno, I Quit, etc should've already been in the game and simply improved w/ each iteration of the game.
GM Mode, Universe Mode, Create an Arena all need overhauls and it's a wonder how 2K hasn't though about the gaming just simply needing to improve w/ each new release versus taking things away only to re-introduce later or make 0 improvements. I thought the foundation of the series was solid w/ 2K22. Guess not

I actually agree bray could be honored differently then being the showcase while as awesome as that would be showcase should center around legends not current talent we got now or had in this timeline in brays case give players a chance to see things the newer generation wasnt around to see
I hope they bring back the different grapple moves with weapons that you used to do in SDVR or the extreme finishers
Polish the gameplay: Chain wrestling & rest holds to return. It's good match filler and drama build up. Ability to ignore submission ropebreaks. Weapon grapples/mechanics to return. Fighting stances off by default and no locking up before grapples. Instead a pouncing like animation can be used.
WWE games Will be better when 2K quit.

It would be nice to see more weapons.. maybe even 2K could allow players to get more weapons via a download update, along with more match types.
Hmm.. 2K Should just do a WWE 2K Live game, for example.. just get fans to pay a yearly subscription and get to pay whatever items you want in the game. Something similar to Fort night. But it's probably highly unlikely that 2K would do something like this.
Since 2k22 it already feels like a shallow, soulless fighting game so my interest couldn’t be lower.
Back stage area needs to go back to the days of hctp and raw vs smack down days
I want them to have a mode like road to wrestlemania. Even if it is just a few wrestlers, it'd be nice to have personalized stories for some of biggest current superstars
Personally I’m not playing one of these games again until they change the reversal and control system. It’s far too difficult and a wwe game shouldn’t be played like mortal combat. Let’s just have something simple like smack down vs raw 2011-2k14. All these breakers, blocking, and dodging is trash. Bring back the reversal button and let us throw each other around.

They should make a storyline called The Bloodline mode and have a story where you choose a superstar and your goal is to defeat Roman Reigns. Like how SvR 2011 had undertaker.
There should be a defeat the reign mode where Roman Reigns is overpowered as shit and you have to defeat him.
We need a single and tag gauntlet match, this should be easy to make as it’s essentially like the Rumble mechanic!
It would work really well with a Kofimania showcase mode!
I think 2K decides to take MyFaction’s focus to another level, to a point where you’re forced to play MyFaction every time you load 2K24.
Universe mode AI and rivalries need a MAJOR change. It doesn't make any sense at all unless you do all the planning and scheduling manually, and it still could go wrong.

EXACTLY. But they love MyFaction. That’s their baby.

2. No new match types other than Special Guest Referee
3. Same broken Universe Mode (STILL with NO promos or show intros)

5. Same shit. Nothing different
6. Same broken rivalry system (a rivalry system that doesn’t make any type of sense)
7. A still broken hit detection
8. No new updated entrances (same entrances from previous games)
9. Outdated roster
It already has. It’s a strike based fighting game disguised as a “wrestling” game. It has taken realistic (sim) elements almost totally out & barely brought some back for 2K23. WWE 2K2.0 is regression except for graphics. The AI sliders didn’t “hit” & it’s gone back to longer canned animations that they were using 15 years ago. So, it’s less interactive & you are just watching cut scenes. They finally had the longer period of time to build a Wrestling game foundation from fall of 2019-spring 2022 & they built an arcade fighter with combos, breakers, block & dodge mechanics. This isn’t wrestling from a game play perspective, imho.

Here’s the problem WWE2K They never going to listen to you at all and that sucks because we’ve been torture since 2K 15. Yeah I know how this goes. I’ve been playing a game since that, so yeah they’re not going to listen to the community at all like really I’m just telling myself when are they going to listen to us and we try to give them some great ideas we are not dumb. We’re just trying to get him some great ideas we just trying to figure out. Why just just why trying to give us some ideas and most of all people just complain and complain and complain. They just don’t sit down and play the game if they were true fans. Of WWE they will play the game, but then now they just complaining and complaining like always. Because they know they want more and I did not going to get it because WWE2K they never going to listen to us and us. The final question is never going to happen.

All I want is for them to improve the Universe Mode and build upon the rivalry action system from 2k23 and improve the blood physics. They do that and I will be happy. Don't care much about other modes as long as Universe is finally not broken

I stopped playing 2K23 my Faction, it became all about micro transactions. The packs got way too expensive and it was almost impossible to complete the new weekly challenges for cards

But like usually the majority didn't listen and then complain when you guys found out it was that bad.

I just want to draft matches back in universe mode the fact that the draft has been a thing for a while now and they haven't put it back in the game doesn't make sense and maybe a gm classic mode because the class system is just not fun to book with

Most of those guys are either with other companies or aren't interested in working with either WWE or 2k or in the case of a certain wolverine, removed due commiting a heinous crime.

Big deal. I am burnt out on today's pro wrestling video games. Pro wrestling video games are rushed, buggy, glitchy and never play-tested. I lke arcade-style fighting video games a lot better than pro wrestling video games because the arcade-style fighting video game developers put a lot of time, thought, love and creativity into their arcade-style fighting video games before porting them on to home consoles, handheld consoles and gaming PCs. In other words, pro wrestling video games are rushed a lot more than arcade-style fighting video games.

They need to do something with 2K24. Either adjust their focus or try to expand themselves. Like one thing that they tried to get us excited for was press a button and a second part of the move happens and made it seem revolutionary when combos have been a thing for years in games. Even WWE games.
In terms of matches, I don't see why they aren't in the game or not willing to spend time on it. War Games I can kinda see why it took a bit to implement and why they may have run out of time. But I Quit is just a submission match for the most part. Just grab a microphone, grapple, and cause the pin mini game or something. Press down on the d pad to get the referee to ask. Special Guest referee is basically a triple threat but one opponent can't be pinned. For the most part, every match is just a normal match just with some elements implemented.
There's quite a long ways to go. I don't think that 2k24 will be the most ideal game in a large case. There's loads that need to be done and what could be done.
Focus on expanding what's there. Some more match types, more ways to perform moves, unrestrict finisher positions, tweak the animation system a bit so moves can be done from different positions, etc. Maybe bring back OMG moments or increase the amount of signatures and finishers people can do.
Why is war games only a team thing imagine it also being a new survival elimination chamber kinda thing by choice tho a small change up to the match type if you wanted with max people fighting and MITB needs tuning

I disagree with your first point as it's just locking content to a different mode. Any wrestlers added to My Faction should be available to use in any mode and that includes stuff like attires, trons, and music for CAW. Personally though for me to bother with 2K24 it needs to have what I just said along with more legends content so wrestlers and arenas, and a mode like the old career modes which were limited, but let me play endlessly.

They did a massacre on the community creations part of the game man. I literally have no other reason to play this game. Universe mode is the same, i could give zero fucks about myfaction lol, and the servers for online were AWFUL. Idk what else there is for me when it comes to this game.

Akira Tazawa is actually a pretty good wrestler whenever it comes to it of course he’s not going to be the main cover of a game but he sure does serve a bit more respect, also I do think that you should change his gimmick

Well l hate 2K faction so much and if you get ban like l did you can't use My Faction no more and all those characters that lock is just wrong. But 2K will continue to do this mode to get extra money but really it just suck. Also l think Showcase mode should be change in What if Showcase and have matches that you can pick a wrestler that lost the actual match like how they did Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Jr match at Halloween Havoc match. That would be cool to see other change the winner.

@@zjdarrah well l did mod the arenas and they didn't like it. Using Anime pictures that are normal and also use the images on the Vs. screen just was too much for them and just ban me with no warning. Really l think they hate my work when l also broadcast my gameplay on Twitch. But they had done it so many times on different WWE games. Still it crazy once you get bad the MyFaction option is lock as well so if you work on that mode and you get ban well all that money you put on it is gone. That why l will never ever play that mode.

Obviously it's going to get better but this'll be 2K's third attempt, yeah it's not a instant remake SVR 08 but after Yukes left, these attempts are building blocks.
And Yukes had many reasons on why not to bring back GM mode.
My Faction: Should've just been a mobile app game and I haven't played it so how are people seeing these attires? (Haven't looked up gameplay either).
Universe Mode: It's been on the decline since
WWE '13 (still not sure if I've experienced it's branching storyline cutscenes).
2K made the decision to make Superstar mode but I don't want skips of brands that I set up like NXTUK just because I'm playing a superstar on RAW.
Missing Superstars: I've already made amends knowing that I missed out on WWE 2K16 through 19 so half to most of the roster, I don't care about.
My only problem with MyRise is...
There needs to a unlockables list and if WWE 2K20 had created for the career mode wrestlers as unlockables and the later games don't have that as an option?
Look I get why the jobbers in MYGM isn't playable on the exhibition roster but why not Justine, Tavish or Gabriel Slade? (Wrestlers that you're forced to play as or your centered rival that the mode off of)?

What I don’t like is when they lock characters into the showcase mode. There are those of us like myself who can’t get through it even on easy difficulty. We used to be able to unlock everything with the supercharger.
????? You have trouble playing through a story and think that's hard show case mode is so simple I cant help but feel like you meant to say something else there 😅
@@Assassin-ys5vw I said what I meant to say. I have a very hard time getting through the showcase mode and can’t unlock things that used to be available just by getting the supercharger. That’s why I despise showcase mode.
