I know eldest siblings who would disagree. They didn’t get a childhood cause they were too busy being a caregiver/parent. I don’t think it’s fair to have so many kids, just to make the oldest be the third hand of the mother and essentially help take care of them. I’ve heard from many oldest siblings how miserable they felt always having to be second Mom since they were small. I don’t see this happening here. It looks like the older sister has genuine fun. I think it helps that Mom is actually there and it’s a bonding time. Rather than… “Go get your sister ready! I’m doing make up.” Just something I noticed. Not being snide or anything.
