very sorry to hear about your wife, stay strong cody! hope she gets well soon.
what happened to her 😮😮
@@chimichurri2612he literally explains it in the first 10 seconds what’s wrong with you people have the attention spans of actual goldfish
He said it so quickly so I didn’t hear either 😢
@@bibblebabl heart failure
@@levelup2014 Would you really call 1-2 seconds "explains it"?? He briefly stated it but that's it. I know people have short attention span but I don't think I would consider this a consequence of short attention span.
Good job babe! Thanks for all the well wishes y’all ❤
my crew has your back babe
I hope you are doing well madame. You have an incredible husband.
You guys are very inspiring. Best wishes from tunisia.
You are incredibly impressive and consistent, I wish all the best to you and your family in 2024!
thank you! pat yourself on the back as well because I'm inspired by how long your tutorial videos are and how well polished the applications you build are!
2 W's here
Sorry to hear about your wife Cody. Hope she gets better soon.
Really love your content and your candidness with coding. Good to understand my own struggles with coding is normal. Keep it up, love your channel!
The amount of work you get done in 2-3 hours a day is massive. For the past 6 months, I just procrastinated and never made any new content but this video is really inspiring and I’ll find time no matter what to make videos now.
Massive respect.
My day is also tighly packed and I couldn't find time for myself.
Great insight on how are you able to spend time on making video. I had to spend 4-5 hours recording a single short + some hours to think about the content.
I should instead focus on being natural and pushing content as you suggested.
Wishing your family a good holiday and may everything be in your favor in upcoming months. Sorry to hear about your wife.
Stay strong and hope your wife get better soon. Me and many people around me(family) have been sick these days, end of 2023 really suck
Thank you, sorry to hear about y’all getting sick a lot this year. I wish you a better 2024
great content man, in the world of CZcams its hard to find honest and simple guy like you, all the best wishes to you and your family
Really inspirational Cody! The way you record videos make a lot of sense to me: use what you learn in your job, record it, edit as quick as possible and that's it. Also knowing that you have a full time job, kids and a wife makes it even more impressive. I also work full time (10up) , have a wife and a kid and it's really hard to keep consistently running a side project like this. Congrats and hope your wife gets better soon (and maybe even keep running her youtube channel again :) ).
This is the second video of yours I watched recently and I must say that I like how you make content and what you share. This one was really interesting to me, so thanks for putting time into it :)
Have a good one.
Helped immensely Cody! Love the style of your videos. Straight forward, to the point and always learning something from it.
thank you!
Thanks cody, you answered my question with this video, to be honest this type of videos are underrated because there's plenty of content about how to code bla bla ... it's these that make the difference.
God bless you and your family, you're a good guy.
This is really great. I appreciate it! I think this is my first time watching one of your videos. I'm currently expanding out into developing a consistent workflow for releasing videos after many years of being and instructor and live streaming and I definitely found that when my process is overly complicated, I never actually get through to publishing. I realized like you said, I'm more suited to a more free-form / agenda-based style since I have been a SWE for 7 years now on top of being used to live teaching format where you can't have a script. This video gave me a more minimalistic approach to how I can add regular videos to my schedule in a practical way while still having full-time work / teaching responsibilities and being a single mom of a toddler. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS!
Really great to see this! Keep up the amazing work. Some seriously intense days but it's great that you are seeing the progress you deserve too. 🔥
Great video! Thanks for sharing such an honest, real-life example. I’m so glad to see somebody not getting up at 4:30 am, going to the gym, reading their emails, managing everything and showing impossible habits to adopt. I loved this honest review and super organized and efficient planning for a day with work, kids & family 👍🏻 Respect.
Incredibly insightful video. Goes to show the power of less is more for real. Like you said, except for longer form videos where you do take the time to plan and research, the ability to be confident enough in the things you know and want to talk about and being able to deliver that and trust that you'll grow into over time is key. And I love that. Thank you for this video.
Thx bro for making this video. I was genuinely curious. I'm new to your channel. Will be praying for your growth in success and for your family.
Appreciate the transparency. Also congrats on the recent CZcams success. You're crushing it!
Thanks for the tips, it's super helpful
As a starting content creator I found myself struggling with planning and executing videos. I especially found myself making too big of videos, when I could make it simpler for me and the viewers.
This really helped 🙏
Thank you Cody for Sharing. I have learned a lot from you over the years. I have been in the industry and an engineer for over 25 years now, currently a CTO. My work schedule is very similar to yours. Wife, 3 kids, and running a company. I still feel like I am never doing enough. Just hearing your personal story, how you manage your time, and the personal challenges you are facing with your wife is truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work. We all appreciate it, and with regards to your wife I will be praying for you guys. No one should have to go through that. Stay strong!
Glad you find my stuff helpful even when you yourself have 25 years of experience. I get that feeling too where I feel like I need to do more, but I often just need to stop myself and remind myself I honestly have everything I need and everything else is just a fun side project. If you can put food on the table and your kids and wife are happy, what more do you reallh need in life
Totally agree with thumbnails. And generally love the realness of this channel!
What I liked was how simple you have kept your system to publish daily videos. Nothing fancy, and simple edit packed with actual value. Thanks a lot for sharing. Love from India
This is really impressive. I plan to start my channel this month. Very interesting to see how much you’re able to achieve with very very little time.
Your video contents make me love coding more. Keep this up! Sorry to hear about your wife, wishing her a speedy recovery.
I just discovered your channel with this video and wow. I wish I was this consistent. I will be adapting my schedule based on what you shared in the video . Kudos
You are a huge inspiration. Wish I could truly express how much it means to me. 🙏
Added to watch later. Best of luck to you. I’m trying to get on your level of productivity
It's amazing how such a nice video can be created on the fly! 👍
Great work managing your family, day job, and content creation consistently so well! I should learn from you, honestly. I'm in a similar situation, but I have always struggled with consistency.
So inspiring mate, I love your content, and hope you and your family had an awesome holiday, stay strong 🥰🚀
Thank you for making this video, I actually watch some your videos for random piece of advice you throw in between.
You are an inspiration mate! Keep it up best wishes to you and your family!
Hats off to you, man. You’re an absolute beast.
Thanks for sharing.
I hope all the health issues go away in no time. Happy coding! :)
Thanks for your valuable time provideing valuable information/experience. Your productivity Truly inspiring..
My first youtube watch of the year. Happy new year man
Wow Cody, Im a dad as well and work from home, love your process and seeing the way you approach it is just refreshing, thanks a lot :)
Amazing work ethic and family balance!! You are an inspiration
appreciate the breakdown. this kind of time management is a huge struggle for me.
I’m so impress with you pushing through staying active despite your circumstances
So humbling to see how much others, like yourself, have to deal with and still manage to put in all the hard work without excuses.
Great video - you've answered a lot of our questions in this video.
Mad respect for you man!
This is very inspiring! I want to do it too starting 2024!
You got this!
Keep up the good work! You inspire me.
Your productivity is really impressive 👏
Hope I can follow your steps soon if I stop procrastinating 😂
Thanks for sharing this. Very inspirational and impressive!
Your new thumbnails are good and whatever strategy you’re doing now is better
Very I inspiring. You are very real . My issue was thinking the sun had tho always be up for me to record then to learn you are recording at 12am to 1 am . Very inspiring.
thanks man, appreciate the information and the visual timeline.
I’m so sorry to hear about your wife. I always look forward to her comment cos my wife does same for me too whenever I’m in a presentation. I pray she gets well soon
I really love your content and they have helped me through my journey
I'm dad and I'm doing my PhD while managing a CZcams channel. I learnt so much from this. I hope and pray your wife gets better. Thank you so much!
the most impressive part for me is that you can improvise and still produce good content. I would have to create a script before putting out something on the same level
Thank you very much for all of this. You inspired me from the beginning to make more for my yt channel :)
Hey, thanks for this. I've been struggling with my upload schedule, and this seems interesting!
This was super helpful dude, thanks for sharing!
Thats really impressive how you have managed to organise your time. Im going to be using that app for sure. Also it just goes to show you can push out quality videos with free editing aplications and get over 100k subs rather than thinking you have to use things like prempro. Good luck on the 200k mate!
Loved your videos.Learned a lot. Liked!
Very inspirational! Thanks a lot for sharing!
My questions have been answered! Thanks 🙂
the idea at 9:48 is sooooo right
i feel like it's perfect to measure one's professionalism based on one's free-talking about some job tasks\problems\etc
Hey, this video is very useful, thank you! I am trying to upscale my content creation, so it helps a lot. 🙌
Loved this video!
Thanks for share your knowledge with us!
Stay strong Cody. It is well with you. Everything is gonna be alright.
thanks for showing, it inspired me a lot :)
That is amazing! Thank you so much!
so sorry to hear about your wife ❤
Thank you for sharing this. I am in the same boat, I wanna make content but struggling to find the time as a mom. Unlike you I am a morning person not night. I was able to make a few videos at night but my energy levels were so low compared to filming in the mornings. Now, I could wake up early and film but my child is a very light sleeper and she wakes up at any slightest noise. I work full time so can’t do anything within the day either. My problem really is filming, my goal is to post at least once a week or every 2 weeks but even with that it’s still a struggle. I have posted in like 3months now.
I guess this is the sort of question that I’ll have to answer for myself. My weekends is full with home activities and spending time with my daughter.
Creating the time for CZcams is really hard when you have a family, so well done. You’ve inspired me
kids make it hard, especially if they are infants / young. I didn't start having more time until my kids turned around 3 and 5. I guess it depends on what you're trying to record, but I was wearing my babies on my back (back carrier) so they could sleep and I could record once in a while. Asking a friend or family member to come watch the kid for just an hour so you have time to do at least one thing for yourself can be useful, or if the kid is able to play or watch TV for 30 minutes while you try to record.
get good at editing and just try to power through it. if the kid interrupts your recording, just keep the recording running, find a way to distract them for 10 more minutes, and just edit out the interruptions when you edit the video.
best of luck
Great productivity. I'm an early riser and waste the time between 5am and 7am surfing social media and youtube... I'm going to use that time to make content from now on because I always struggle to fit it in at the end of the day
Ohhh You've started doing thumbnails now!
Thanks for the video, it was interesting! 👍👍👍
A lot of people underestimate how much of a difference working from home makes. I went from a 60-90 min commute to wfh and the amount of free time I have now is insane.
Respect the grind 👍🏼
Great video , more people need to do content on this subject
Keep it up! Great video
This is very interesting as a content creator. I think my day looks a lot similar to yours as a developer, I have a toddler. The issue I have is that she wakes up at 7:30am, no naps, goes to sleep at 9:00pm... So I'm really struggling to find the time, plus I'm too tired sometimes.
I have 20 years of experience as a software engineer, the last 10 years on iOS exclusively (yeah I started on Objective-C), but my content is on music production (not making much content as I said).
This is the first time I watch a video of yours.
I wish the best to your family! Speedy recovery to your wife.
coffee and caffeine got me through many of my videos but has probably messed up my heart at this point 🤣
this is inspiring, thanks for sharing
Great insights and to see how much hard work and consistency you put into content creation and that you have your own life outside of it................amazing to see this channel grow...... just curious though where some other items such as learning things and replying to the community goes? feels like you get a lot done in that last 1 or 2 hours of the night ....would love to even see a small clip of unedited footage for further insights.............
Ah so replying I do throughout the day when I’m doing stuff like cooking, taking a poo, you know the usual. Learning things I’ll do if I’m just sitting around in bed at night and don’t need to be in my office recording
You are really disciplined, thanks for the tips.
really sorry to hear about your wife . Hope she gets better soon.
very very sorry to hear about your wife, keep doing what you doing your awesome man!!
lmfao i love you explain every thing with diagrams!
It seems we have quite similar schedules/responsibilities. However, a key difference for me is that I need to script a lot of videos.
While I could easily just talk off the cuff about certain topics, I find that scripting them ahead of time significantly improves the quality.
Your approach is much better! I just couldn’t do that with my niche. But I might try that with YT Shorts content.
Great video and prayers up for your wife.
Bruh… I am NOT a coder
This video just gave me SO much inspiration for LIFE! Thank you so much! And I pray your wife gets better!!
I’ll keep you and your families health in my heart. Wish all of you the absolute best
Inspiring vid Cody, thanks for sharing. Hope your wife gets well soon
I respect you so much.
You really get a lot done in the evening.
My problem is that I am far too tired after a day of work to be able to do much at all in the evening, even though I would really like to be more productive.
Thank you so much !
We do care about this! Thank you for posting this bro.
Came back to this video to say thank you. I have 3 kids and a job as well and my resolution for 2024 is to streamline my content creation. The name of the game is to just get my experience out there from my 15 years, and I need to streamline and just get it done. You’re an inspiration and I respect your work ethic. Good luck in 2024 for your family and your career. 🎉🎉
You got this!
@@WebDevCody WE got this! Codys stick together! I want to continue seeing your growth and content. Keep it up, my dude
@@cody_codes_youtube I didn’t even see you’re a fellow Cody. Represent!

very interesting, thank you!
I love the video!
helped a lot. thanks!
Fascinating. I thought I had an excuse.
Hope your wife is gonna get better.
Loving your content, and those kind of videos : Routines and Diagrams haha
i hate productivity videos bc most of them are kind of repititve and commerical.
However, I've seen the first minutes and you do seem so honest and got experience to share.
In my watchlater list, Will watch it:)
Thanks for the tips
Man that tight schedule everyday
Respect man.
I loved this productive
All the best insh'Allah concerning you and your wife, I hope she gets better insh'Allah
