    GOVERNMENT CENSORSHIP AND RESTRICTIONS TO INFORMATION SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED! Access to information is a human right that should not be restricted based on how rich or poor a person is. Using a VPN whether it's free or not can help to bypass those restrictions to assist in defeating censorship... Thanks for watching :)

    Does anyone have suggestions on a vpn where I can have my server on the vpn, but still have local LAN access to the server? I know expressvpn has this feature, I wanted to know if there are any other vpn's with this feature? Many services have split-tunnelling, but if I put the server on split-tunnel, then the IP is exposed. I need the server on vpn, and I need other local network devices to be able to find and have access to the server.

    I downloaded Proton and when I have it turned on it will not allow any pages to load. The message I get is the Google standard, the server cannot be found. I'd really like to go with open source. What are we to do in the meantime of the transition to Web3? For those of us that did not grow up with the language patterns of the internet (50+ woman here), how do we navigate the functionality of the walled gardens of Web2, while protecting ourselves, and preparing ourselves with Web3 focused products? Is there a best computer to have? Is there a course I can take? In my business, I'm trying my hardest to teach others how to prepare for the future, but I keep getting pummeled in the process: I had a major hack within my Google and Microsoft (yes, I know there are a sh*t ton of hacks going on right now). My Avast VPN was compromised, along with many other accounts. Now, I need some recommendations as to how best to proceed, I was excited to use Proton as an open source VPN. Do I just go with Door #2 and hope for the best and wait out this whole transition? Can anyone help a girl out?

    Any VPN based in the 5 eyes is pointless.

    • @capedcrusader5282
      @capedcrusader5282 Před 2 lety +2

      It's not always the case. While yes, having an important and sensitive tool like a VPN in any 5 eyes country may seem pointless but it all boils down to the actual data that a VPN company can offer when requested by law enforcement.
      Meaning even if a vpn is based on a very privacy friendly country like Switzerland or Iceland but still collects more data than those based on other countries which may be 5 eyes, the former is less secure.
      So, don't live in this mindset.
