Is there a button, while riding, to skip a waypoint? I know you have this on the Moto 1. As a kickstarter backer I'm getting my metal Moto II soon, looking forward to this and the instruction videos are great to already get familiar with the device.
I saw in another review that this is the speed limit for the current road you are on. The circle around it forms as you get closer to the limit, and turns red if you exceed the limit. Also heard it is now an option in the settings of the app, to turn on or off. Note that I got this from a review video, not from official documentation.

Hey Robin, yes, you can long hold the top button to skip a waypoint whilst riding, or alternatively use the Ride Menu to toggle between waypoints.
