The sound engineering is insanely satisfying, and after watching the visuals are done just as well. Entertaining while being informative. Hats of to the team for this ad. Actually stopped and watched this ad. Something about her voice and the way she said her S’s “shoes and inserts” along with the other crisp sounds immediately gave me a relaxing ASMR feel. Great job, I don’t need anymore shoes but I felt compelled to buy a pair of these. The ad came on a second time today and I watched it again. Now I’m here watching it one more time! The ASMR this woman gives me is very relaxing! Thank you for this.

The first ad I didn't skip on CZcams, actually I searched for it so I can enjoy it all over again.
I did not skip this ad and I was so entertained that I did not notice that it was 3 minutes long. The spokes lady was so charismatic. Great job!
Y'know what, I respect this type of ad. The type that actually seems to have some respect for the consumer, and informs about the product, not talking down too much or being too out there, but also not being some dry corporate ad that takes 30 seconds to get around to its product.
If I have any critique, it's that some parts probably could be cut a little shorter (though I totally see how it's done is part of the intentional humor, so I wouldn't cut _this_ ad), and that you could absolutely run a shorter companion ad about the benefits of the shoes environmentally/ compared to other shoes on its own, presumably with a slightly different hook. It works, but I don't know if it's quite as good as you could make it; I almost clicked off once at the beginning because of the extra couple seconds of mental non-engagement caused by the brand intro and the specific delivery of the initial line (while the delivery works great for the rest of the commercial, I might try a slightly different delivery at the beginning because of the spacing and timing, more like when she's talking about running shoe compression; I'm ambivalent about the tone compared to the rest of the ad and could go either way on it, but think the actual lines are just fine as they are), and the specific "that guy" and "shoe being sawn" gags which didn't hit for me as well as the others, probably again because of the dead air space, but possibly just having to do with those two segments being next to each other. The more extended gags and deadspace elsewhere in the ad work well, I couldn't tell you what it is about those two specifically. I like the tone and editing in general, and not focusing on traveling until late in the ad was a good idea. Don't let how long that paragraph ran fool you, they're tiny things that you probably thought of, and this is still the best ad I've seen in ages, regardless of source or type of media.

Wow, just WOW! Advertisers could learn a lot from these guys! Was this ad produced in-house, or by an agency? We need to know! Seriously, I'd love to procure the services of an ad agency that can come up with the very first ad that I actually WANTED to keep watching. Not pretentious, not annoying, the product was vaguely interesting (sorry, I'm a stingy old bloke who wears work boots 24/7, I don't really give a hoot about my shoes), but by God, did they sell it! Kudos!
CZcams seriously needs a function where by we can nominate ads for awards, because this ad absolutely nailed it. I was so disappointed by the fact that the ad didn't come with a thumbs up or a thumbs down option, that I opened up a new tab and searched for this ad, just so that I could give it the thumbs up that it deserves.
