If the star wars fan base is made up of 70-90% men that means there is between 10-30% female fanbase. Where are they? They're not enjoying it either, so who is this "new fanbase" they're trying to cultivate? If the current female fanbase isn't interested, what female fanbase would be? This episode proves it's not for kids, and the lousy, lazy writing and directing by lesley hedland and the ridiculous plan by kathleen kennedy to create a show (that again its fanbase is pretty much all male) that this is made by women for women proves that they have no understanding of what star wars is and what it represents. Star wars has ALWAYS been for everyone and race or gender was never even a reason to make a star wars project or get people to watch a star wars project. Most women don't watch star wars and the ones that do agree that the writing and directing is lousy and lazy, so whats their plan? Episode 3 witches scene was one of the worst shit I ever saw on tv. Even low budget South African shows which cost about. $300 per 30 min episode to make had more quality in them. This show is bad.

You DO NOT take a series that is generally child friendly and add sexual themes like these into it. These people are barely human and do not know what stories are or mean. I think I speak for most people when I say that Disney must be forced into bankruptcy and complete overhaul.
Any time one of the tenants of your show is "Ignore the fans" its going to be a bad time. Because that says this, "We plan to do something with this story that directly contradicts the core concept of the franchise and it will upset people so we are going to close our eyes, plug our ears and pretend people like our show regardless of facts."
