  • Anthony has a ton to get to after a busy weekend that saw the Lakers continue their slide down the Western Conference standings. Following a frustrating loss to the Utah Jazz, Anthony Davis took accountability. What a concept, right Darvin Ham?
Speaking of Ham, Anthony again has to relay the latest on pressure Ham might be feeling as the Lakers continue to struggle. Regardless of how Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka feel about him, there is real tension in the organization about the job he is doing.
There has been a slight wind change on the Lakers' stance on their trade assets, so Anthony details that and discusses a fun rumor about Gordon Hayward's potential availability later in the season and the advantages the Lakers would have if he does get bought out.
Anthony had a stat that pretty much sums up why the Lakers have struggled this year, and it has everything to do with not dominating LeBron James, Davis minutes.
To wrap things up, Anthony discusses Cam Reddish's injury, why it makes him so nervous, and what those nerves have to do with Gabe Vincent's season so far.

Here's what I think In some spaces I believe he was chosen to fit the bill due to being one of popular names being thrown out there and also being part of a champion organization yet ..that doesn't necessarily mean he's grasped the full concept of running a winning style basketball.. I also believe that his approach to coaching is passive he's needs to show emotion and show the players that wants to win. throw the clip board, cuss players out during halftime, because his passive approach is showing up on his bench of players

Disgraceful we ain’t looking on trading for Derozan. Plus the scouting department should be fire as well. Jaime was the pick

Sad but true... it is harder to find a new coach than fixing the roster with trades.

I could see the Lakers doing a back door deal with Hornets. We offer 1st, Rui, Max, and Gabe for Rozier and Bridges. Then Hornets buyout Hayward

Seems we wanted all coaches out since 2014 & wanted Kuz & KCP out! Feel like wins depend on LBJ jump shot. When on we got a shot, when not we are shot 😮

I feel like it's pointless talking about Darvin ham needing to be fired. Cuz they're clearly not gonna fire him

Congrats on another great episode! Best case scenario with Hawks is Russell, Reaves, Hood-Shafino, Hayes, Lewis & multiple 2nds for Murray, Bogie and Bufkin. We keep Rui & Vincent for other trades or one major trade in offseason for a star. Pick up Hayward byombo

On the surface, trading Reaves for Murray seems to make sense - Murray is CLEARLY a better player - but it won't make the Lakers a better team, trade DLo and another player for Murray instead.

A humbling and maybe dumb move is to move LBJ to the bench. At this stage, LBJ needs to be less of the main guy and preserve his energy. He needs to give his teammates guidance and share his knowledge. Currently, LBJ is taking opportunities away and slows down the growth of his younger teammates and AD. The Lakers need to wean off of LBJ. He is close to retirement, and they need to take advantage of his skills and knowledge while he is still in the NBA as a Laker. LBJ to the bench is a transition plan to learn to play without him and helps his teammates to showcase their talents. Plus, it would be humbling to see LBJ accept this for the betterment of the team.
